Temple Court Cavern Quarter Apartments by Happy Days

Spacious. Great bathrooms. Comfortable furniture .

Located in the midst of lively nightlife which was very loud till 3 - 5 am. We were 5 sixty one yr olds and this location was suitable for very young adults who enjoy a ‘party’scene. We were to check out 11am Saturday 18th April and unfortunately there was a power cut in the area from 8.15am , we had no electric or running water and had to vacate the property after having no adequate toilet facilities , it would have been appropriate and appreciated if we had received a message from yourselves that we could stay in the apartment till power restored.. I tried to ring properly management to ask for this , left an answer service message and gave up after several unanswered phone calls. I did receive a generic message that there was a power cut and not to use the toilets ( 5 61yr old women !) It was already too late for us to ‘obey ‘this ‘command’ re: toilet use !! I would hope that there would be re-compense from yourselves as we could not use utilities on our last morning. ( and I am aware it was a power cut affecting the locale ).

I guess you can't really expect more knowing how little you are paying, but the airbnb was very very neglected: the drain of the tap was filled with hairs, we found stains of god knows which body fluids on the sofa, there were tobacco butts and used vapers under the beds, stains of what seemed to be poop on the sheets, the carpet was filled with weird hard stains (something like gum?)... Besides all of the nasty stuff already mentioned (and the ones we ommited), there were loads of other malfunctions: one of the windows was broken and you couldn't even close it, the shower only had cold water, the toilet made a horrible noise everytime it was flushed, loads of light came through all of the windows during the night, the entrance door left a huge gap on one of its sides and you couldnt even lock it from the inside with the keys, it just had a simple lock (not safe at all). It was, in conclusion, a very nasty place, nice enough to sleep there for a few nights if you don't mind the constant noise coming from the bars on the street.

Stayed here with a group of six. The apartment is extremely well located for Mathew Street, the waterfront, and the city centre. Communication regarding check-in was prompt and friendly. It’s in a very lively area, which is exactly what we were after, but this does mean loud music into the early hours—something to expect given the central location. It wouldn’t suit anyone looking for a quiet weekend.

The shower was only lukewarm and operated via a push-button system like a swimming pool. The apartment was also a bit draughty, and there were some random stains on the carpets. Not a dealbreaker though, as it’s much more conveniently located than other options we'd looked at.

They kept me outside innthe cold for more than an hour because I was given the wrong address
