The apartment it’s self is great, although the aircon was broken so very loud and rattled on and off the whole time which we did tell the host about straight away with the promise of it being looked at as it really effected our sleep. The WiFi also broke for 3 whole days which considering we were digital nomads wasn’t ideal, but also the tv is a streaming tv so meant we couldn’t even have any tv on When we asked for a slight compensation due to these errors they were denied, which I don’t think is very fair

Love the place the parking not so great , maybe get parking pass with rental or be allowed to share driveway in back?

There was some water previous water damage to the laminate flooring in the room, but the owners made a lot of effort to make the stay a good one. Everything worked well and there were a lot of extras like spices and olive oil in the kitchen for cooking and self checking into the apartment went seamlessly. They sent me a lockbox code in the morning of my stay to get the keys for the door. There is a grocery store that is a 10 minute walk away which was convenient.

The property was wonderful. In walking distance of many restaurants and entertainment.

First off, the buildings were not clearly marked! I walked into another man’s apartment as he was cooking. There were only the cleaners on-site, who spoke very broken English. They weren’t even sure where my rental was! They finally figured it out, but the keys weren’t where they were auto be. I contacted Vince who was no help, then talked to his wife. They finally figured out where I could find a key! Thank goodness the cleaning staff was there or I wouldn’t have found it! Had to use a back up key! If cleaning staff hadn’t been there I wouldn’t have been able to get in! I misplaced my key and was charged $150 for a replacement key! There were 2 keys, but one didn’t work!About $145 more than it cost to replace it! The towels were stained and threadbare, the place was dirty The tv didn’t work at all and I was there for 6 days, and made my complaint known! Do NOT stay here! The place is a nightmare with no support! No one listens! I have been in touch with Vince about the outrageous key fee plus the hassle with the key o. The first place, then the threadbare, dirty towels. This place would get get no stars, but it doesn’t go that low! Please don’t fall for the price! This is worse than a motel 6 on steroids!

The property was great. Not having any parking was the only issue I had. But other than that couldn’t ask for better for a single traveler.

Great location. Owner had great communication and keeps a beautiful property. Will definitely use again if it is available.

The unit was overall very nice and comfortable and was exactly what I needed for a week in the Phoenix area. A few things to note though: - the filter in the water pitcher was dirty - the thermostat is mounted behind the TV and is very difficult to access and use because it’s impossible to see the thermostat screen without using a phone camera - one day when I came home from being out, the TV was on (it was off when I left) and the volume was super loud. I assume that maybe a neighboring unit’s remote might’ve accidentally controlled the TV in my unit, but either way it was a bit alarming and made me wonder if someone had been there while I was gone

I like the location. It was close to Mill Ave in Tempe, walking distance to ASU and many Restaurants The host was very communicative and helpful. It has a small but fully functional kitchen with a 2 burner stove and microwave. Small TV for the space but it was a decent quality 1080p HD TV. The unit was a lot larger than I expected for the price

There is no real parking in the area. Closest parking is a quarter mile away. Which is HIGHLY inconvenient. The listing says Street Parking but the entire road is 2 Hour Parking 24 hours and the parking Garage across the street is 3 hours Max with no overnight parking Also, Aardvark charges a $1000 security deposit fee tainted my experience with the property before I ever left my house. No pre-warning because otherwise people probably wouldn't book this location. The price was low and nonrefundable but I wouldn't have booked it if I knew I had to pay an extra $1000 fee and if I could have canceled I would have.
