Luxury 1-bedroom Apartment - Central Dundee

Kitchen and bathroom were in good condition.

From arrival and through the night, constant shouting, dogs barking and doors slamming( both upstairs and front door which is just outside the apartment door). People coming in and out of building through the night. We felt unsafe and decided to leave first thing the first morning of our stay. Internally, the bed was most uncomfortable, clearly very old mattress with damaged springs; the flimsy Venetian blind let the streetlight into the bedroom, followed by the sunlight. Black out curtains badly needed. Towels were off white. Wi fi didn’t connect and had incorrect spelling in the compendium. Couldn’t get TV to work. Sofa bed was set up in kitchen/living area, taking up a lot of space and leaving nowhere to sit. We didn’t request this. The owner sent an inordinate amount of emails, some through Booking.com, others from Business address, others from personal email. These became confusing and repetitive. We ended leaving after one night given the above. The owner declined to refund our second night. Looking through previous reviews, a number of these issues have been raised but clearly ignored.

The location was ok. The space was ok.

The mattresses are old and worn. The apartment was loud. Neighbors up late with dog going in and out. Shared outside door bangs whenever it was closed.

The apartment is nicely furnished and decorated. It was clean and well presented. Good communication from the host but way too many repetitive emails about the booking, it would be better to add information in a couple of emails.

The shower head wasn't powerful enough. It was noisy, we could hear loud walking noise from the apartment above basically all night, noise didn't stop until 4am.
