Urban Chic Apartments Near Center City

There was a pizza place next to it that had good pizza.

The apartment was unbearably hot due to a wave of heat coming from the floor in the bedroom, making it unlivable. Despite opening the windows, the fan, and the air conditioning on the lowest temperature, the issue persisted. Funny that the weather outside was very good. I contacted the property, but they couldn't fix the issue and said to wait until the next day. I had no choice but to leave and book another place. The support from the property was disappointing, and the issue was never resolved. I offered to come back the next day to show them the problem, but they didn't accept. After informing them that I booked another place and locked up and left the apartment, they offered me another room in a different neighborhood. They were confident that Booking.com would honor their side, but as a guest, I saw that Booking.com helped me to follow up on this issue. I expect to see another lying response from this property. The order of events is recorded by Booking.com and they don't want to accept their problem and offer better service to guests.

The host constantly reminded me about the incidental fee. It also did not have a microwave.

Great place in a great location

This was one of the worst lodging experiences I’ve ever had. The property did not look like the pictures online, the communication with the host was slow and unprofessional, and the space was filthy. There was no central AC which was not mentioned in the listing and the window unit (which was not running when we arrived) did not reach the bedroom AT ALL. The whole apartment was dirty and had a very bad smell. The refrigerator was broken and leaking brown fluid all over the floor. We notified the host and never got a response. Most of the furniture was broken and there were large cracks in the walls. The blinds in the bathroom were broken and we had to hang a T-shirt in the window to keep people from being able to see in. There were parental locks on the TV so we were not even able to watch anything besides kids shows. Also, there were only two towels available to us for the entire stay. The most frustrating part of our stay was that after booking the apartment, we were told we owed an additional $180 “incidental fee” which was not mentioned prior to booking. We were told this would be refunded at the end of the stay. On the day of checkout, we received an email stating we would get our refund after rating the stay and submitting a copy to the host. This is coercion and absolutely not acceptable. It took a week to get our refund. This property was highly unprofessional and unsatisfactory.

Location was on a main street in West Philly. Convenient to a pizza shop and place to grab water ice and a pretzel. The apartment was clean and quiet at night. I appreciated the communication from their team throughout the stay.

Carrying heavy luggage up the stairs was a challenge.

Great location close to the city

I stayed here for a festival. Check-in was seamless. Get the code, use it, and done. Loved the fact that there was no hassle. Parking was great. We came back at 12 am, and there were at least 2-3 spots available every night on a weekend. The building is quiet. Surprisingly, so is the area. You have a pharmacy, pizzeria, and icey stand within a block. This is definitely in my saves for a future Philly trip.

Our stay was very pleasant but a few things need to be looked at like in the bathroom it needs a curtain or blind a little creepy in there. You need a microwave and the ice maker didn't work and better air circulation for the apartment, bedroom only cool room. Fix the fridge doors so they can close and wont leak.
