Urban Chic Apartments Near Center City

The only thing I like about this property is the air conditioner. The location to get around to everywhere.

They don’t communicate well at all. They don’t have a WIFI. So that’s was horrible, tv didn’t work. The tub was very clogged up. There was ants everywhere in the bathroom and on the walls. The lights on don’t work. It felt like it was a scam. I called to get some information they didn’t answer. The only time they answered is when I was leaving. This place was ghetto is as fuck. The door code they has access to it. I didn’t think that was safe, in my opinion. At this point just don’t do it.

Easy access to public transport, kitchen and good tv and WiFi

Enjoyed my stay in this apartment-style unit. It had everything I needed to be comfortable and was in walking distance to several food options.

Place was clean, great space for a couple, close to the station.

If they had more cutlery, kitchen utensils and pots - also some basic cleaning products like sponges, dishtowels, cleaning towels -that would be great!

It was an okay appartement. Lacks a bit of kitchenware and microwave. The fridge is uneven and the door do not close correctly. Itis only cool in the bedroom. The kitchen picture on the site is not the right one. They also ask for a review if we want our safety deposit return promptly or they only return the deposit after 5 days.

Great space was great and welcoming. Love that it was easy to get too.

No Internet, microwave, or broom

We liked the refrigerator, the sink sprayer and the size of the apartment.

Location: Haddington, West Philadelphia is not for everybody. The homeless population & neglected homes made us change our plans to take casual walks & to ride our bikes around the neighborhood. Concerns about not finding street parking for our large minivan drove us to Uber to and from the Center City ($19/one way). The apartment building stands out on the street because it is modern. However, the steep steps to the 2nd floor posed a real challenge for carrying bikes & luggage. Anybody challenged with a disability or heavy items should request a unit on the first floor. Most of things that disappointed us would have been easy fixes. For example, the two bedrooms (or the bedroom and sitting room) had overhead lights that did not turn on. We depended on open curtains during the day & using the one bedside lamp at night. There were two decent-sized closets, but only three hangers so we left our clothing in our luggage. A portable air conditioner was in the bedroom & two large fans were in the unit but only one worked, so the bedroom was the coolest place in the whole unit. We could not cook the food we brought because there weren't enough pots & pans. The only skillet offered had a scratched surface & was bent. The kitchen chairs had fabric seats so they were spotted. There was no window covering in the bathroom, the shower curtain was paper thin & the kitchen had three damaged sliding drawers. The bigger issues are worth the investment for future guests: the TV, the shower & the washing machine. For example, without Apple phones & faster WiFi we could not connect our phones to the TV - which meant that we missed the closing performance of the 2024 Olympics. There must be service in that area for Smart TV's. The shower experience could have been improved if the drain had been unclogged. It took 15-30 minutes for the water to disappear. The washing machine wet our clothes, but the wash cycle never started.
