Maverick Suites at 28 Fenway

Everything was great except the thermostat in our room was not cooling the room at all. It appeared to be on but the room stayed 75 despite it being set at 69.

The room was clean and the building was nice. The room was really, really small. The street that our window faced was noisy all night long with college kids singing and playing music until midnight, then loud trucks traveling on the road the rest of the night. We could not get a restful sleep.

Went to see a Red Sox game perfect walking distance.

Great location. Room was too warm an AC condition was not addressed .

I absolutely love this place. Its extremely comfortable and convenient for exploring. Also love the code lock system on the doors

Everything was lovely except the size of the room was extremely cramped. Not even a chair to sit on.

The building itself was very nice and well maintained. Check in process was quick and efficient. Never talked to a staff member. It was all handled over emails and internet. The property was in a good location. Easy access to the subway and in walking distance to Fenway. What I did not like about the property was how much noise there was. We stayed at the rear of the building on the first floor. There was absolutely no reason to set an alarm to wake up. The garbage trucks handled that quite well for you at 4-5 o’clock every morning for at least 30 minutes. Also, the lack of available staff was noticeable. I only saw 1 staff member the entire length of our stay. We stayed 5 nights and our trash was only emptied 1 time and only in the bedroom. Towels were not replaced at all. There was no hairdryer in the unit. They did provide an iron but no ironing board.

The property is amazing but the housekeeping was nonexistent. We had 1 towel/wash cloth to last the entire 6 day stay. Sheets were never changed.

Great option for walking to Fenway for a Sox game. Room is small but even has a decent kitchenette area. Would choose again.

Compact and comfortable room that is a close walk to Fenway Ballpark and the Museum of Fine Arts. Lots of dining options close by. However, I had to phone Maverick Suites to get the entry information. They claimed Hotels.com did not provide them with my contact information. Hotels.com did not make it clear that this is essentially a "self-service" stay place. No chair or bedside table in Room 209. I found no ice machine in the building.
