We were a family of 4 with a small dog. The apartment was so spacious with everything we needed. It was warm and very comfortable. We had an evening meal (booked a table beforehand) in the pub itself. Excellent home-cooked food.

Huge apartment above the village pub. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, a well equipped kitchen with plenty of utensils, pots and pans to be able to cook a meal. Dishwasher and washing machine too. Great location halfway between Bakewell and Buxton and the Dales/Peaks on your doorstep.

There’s nothing we didn’t like. If I have to put something, a decent sized desk/mirror/vanity in the main bedroom would be nice.

Absolutely huge, fantastic decor, very comfortable and nice and warm! Loved it and will definitely be back. We booked a table in the pub for dinner too,, and that was superb and brilliant value 💙
