Cosy Apartment above Village Pub

It was quiet, despite being above a pub. It wasvery clean and generally well-appointed. The location is lovely and there is easy parking. Internet good. There is a washing machine and washing powder is available.

The kitchen is superficially well provided but there are irritating omissions eg no lids for saucepans, no means to make a cup of coffee if you don’t want instant, no tea strainer etc. The double bed has quite a soft mattress which will suit some but not others.

The perfect location for a stay in the Peak District, with arguably the best view from a pub garden anywhere in the UK? Perfect for a family of four, with all rooms well furnished and a generous kitchen and lounge set up. Great for self-catering, but the food in the pub downstairs was good stuff. Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth House are all inside a 20-minute drive, and you can simply pop hiking boots on and start over the back fence of the beer garden for a good walk. Taddington Village is lovely. Have already been recommending it to friends. We will be back!

The apartment was tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and surprisingly spacious, with a generously sized bathroom that added to the comfort. It was also dog-friendly, which made the stay even better for us. The pub downstairs had a warm, inviting atmosphere and served delicious, well-prepared food—it was a real bonus to have such a great spot just steps away.

There wasn’t really anything I disliked, but if I’m being really picky, the bathroom sink was quite small—especially considering there seemed to be enough space for a standard-sized one. Just a minor detail in an otherwise excellent stay.

The appointment was clean, beautiful with lovely lighting. Lots of space. And in a fantastic location.

Lovely apartment, bright and modern. Spotlessly clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking space behind the pub. Excellent food in the bar.

Would have liked a few more mugs, glasses, teaspoons and a hoover!!

Everything as it was clean,spacious and everything you need for a pleasant stay.The Queen’s ams was good to visit with good beer and and very good meals.

Being above a pub the smaller bedroom could get noisy at night from below.

Gorgeous apartment above a lively village pub, Apartment fresh and clean stocked with everything you might need. Beds extremely comfy. Great food in the pub with daily special Offers. Cheap drinksl Friendly locals Equidistant from Buxton and Bakewell Home cooked honesty cake box over the road was an interesting point. Staff very friendly and chatty.

Nothing to dislike !! A fruit bowl , grater and a spatula. Wouldn’t go amiss Noisy under the twin room from the pub the first night but not the second.
