Villa Barluzzi

My wife and I have traveled extensively for the past 20 years, but this property was truly unlike any other. The meticulous attention to detail created a truly unique and unforgettable paradise. The manager and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel like cherished family members throughout our stay. If you're seeking an experience that will leave you with lasting memories, look no further – this is the place!

Where do I start? Salvatore and the team (Sylvia / Titiana) were the most incredible hosts we have ever stayed with. We stayed for 2 nights in the Kronos suite and I ended up proposing to my partner during the stay. I really cannot speak anymore highly of Salvatore, Sylvia and Titiana - they went above and beyond for us and made our stay a truly magical experience. I am limited in my review word count so I will try to be as concise as possible! Incredible communication for many weeks before via Whatssap. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel like family - he helped on the phone with our taxi driver, he met us at the town centre to help with our (extremelly heavy) bags, gave us a fantastic tour of the accommodation and even a private mini tour around of the town to point out local bars, restaraunts, attractions etc. Salvatore is a hilarious, charming and caring guy - it felt as though we were old friends! The suites are stunning with amazing details throughout. Barluzzi is a converted old church and the photos really do not do it justice. We stayed in Kronos with the full private garden with panaormic views of the coast - the views are seriously breathtaking. Hot tub is also great and always piping hot ;) Salvatore had known for several weeks I was planning to propose to my partner during the holiday. We had ice cold Prosecco waiting for us - once we had settled in Salvatore snuck me off and took me to the top of the building where the top suite has an amazing private terrace. He noted they could do a surprise breakfast on the roof terrace as the guests were not arriving until several days later. I ended up proposing in the bell tower over the surprise breakfast they organised - it was truly magical and completely down to the hospitality, charm and professionalism of the entire team. We are so happy to have the team as part of our engagement story - it really wouldnt have been the same without them. Salvatore is an absolute gem - we will be back!!

The room was wonderful, the view was amazing, a unique experience in a villa which was actually a church built 1000 years ago. Great mosaics, great furniture, real luxury. We also loved Salvatore, who was always a great help and even took us to a walk around the town streets.

Exceptional villa, a former church, stunning view, top luxury until the very finest detail. Our stay was made all the most wonderful by the lovely host Salvatore. We are already planning our trip cack to villa Barluzzi!

The place is out of this world, DIVINE. Salvatore, the general manager, along with two wonderful ladies -Tiziana and Flora run this place with so much love. You get everything in there: warmth, marvellous hospitality, breathtaking views, attention to detail, amazing amenities, help when needed. And the sunrises every morning leave you speechless. You just feel very welcome and looked after. And the property is pure Italian perfection.

Villa Barluzzi was exceptional in every way! The location is fantastic, the room and terraces are new and luxurious, the view is breathtaking, the breakfasts are plentiful and delicious, and Salvatore, is the most attentive, responsive, cheery, and helpful Host ever! He made our stay that much sweeter. Everything we asked for, Salvatore tackled immediately. He helped us with our luggage, made restaurant reservations, provided directions, politely answered our abundant questions and made sure that we had whatever we desired. Salvatore is a gem and such a pleasure to have as a resource. His enthusiasm and love for his quests is unmatched.

The property is absolutely stunning and the location is in close proximity to the city center. My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and, before the first night was even over, we were talking about coming back. The concierge was also an incredible help throughout our stay in addition to being one of the most welcoming we’d encountered throughout our honeymoon. We can’t stay enough wonderful things about the property and it’s concierge! If you are wondering whether to stay here, the answer is definitely yes!

There is no elevator and there are some stairs to get to the city center; however the concierge provided exceptional service and helped us with our luggage! He also helped us to organize a cab for the morning of our departure.
