Salvatore our host was the most wonderful host. The villa was outstandingly beautiful and meticulously clean. The views were spectacular. All staff were welcoming and kind.

I would like to thank my friend Salvatore for making our holiday much better than we expected, great breakfast, amazing view and comfort. This is now our favorite holiday spot.

I don't think it's something you can not like. Everything is like a dream experience, Salvatore will make your holiday even more great. Just ask him something, and he will sort it out for you. He is a really nice person. Will definitely come back

The Villa Barluzzi will rank among the very best places we have ever stayed. From beginning to end, it was a truly exceptional experience. We celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary there and it was exactly what we were looking for. The Villa is a luxury, boutique hotel with attentive and enthusiastic staff who clearly love and respect this 12th century church that was reconfigured into a stunning small hotel. I believe there are only 6 rooms, and each carries a theme from Greek mythology, with unique furnishings (we were blown away by all the perfectly chosen antiques), playful frescoes, gorgeous floors, and elements from the church - all expertly woven in. If you love art, architecture, history, and the most fabulous views of the Tyrrhenian Sea right from your room (!), this place is for you. If you appreciate peace and relaxation, this place is for you. If you enjoy a delicious breakfast, prepared just as you request, this place is for you. Located just a short walk (there are stairs) from the main square, the Villa Barluzzi is a perfect jumping off point to explore more of the Amalfi Coast, if that is your desire, or to simply rest and relax (that was our desire). Taking a taxi or bus to neighboring towns is easy -- you do need to walk up or down some external paths and stairs. We saw that as a plus, and not a minus. If you know anything about the small villages and towns that dot the Amalfi Coast, this should not surprise you. They are built into the steep hills and are hundreds of years old, and the inner areas are pedestrian-only. Salvatore, who is the wonderful manager, is happy to suggest activities - whether that's a cruise for fishing, or exploring the Villa Cimbrone gardens (highly recommend). He really wanted all his guests to have the best time possible, which we did. We highly recommend the Villa Barluzzi as a gorgeous small hotel that perfectly embodies the spirit of the Amalfi Coast.

The fact that we stayed in a 12th century church! The super comfortable room with our own gorgeous garden with amazing views. The personalised service we recieved from Salvatore the manager, his dedication to his job and how passionate he is about it!

This hotel perfectly represents the beauty and the charm of Ravello. Salvatore our host, was full of energy and went out of his way to provide the best experience we have ever had. The rooms are way beyond exceptional, they are just.... breath taking. Breakfast was served every morning out on the private terrace overlooking the Amalfi coast. The view is spectacular, the terrace beautiful with a fountain and large lemon tree wrapped around a trellis that gave the perfect amount of sun and shade. From modern bathroom, giant tub by the widow, giant glass doors, frescas on the extremely high ceiling, fine hand crafted furniture, ice cold quiet AC and large roman columns you will find the deep roots of Ravello's spiritual past while at the same time enjoy its modern conveniences.

This place is exceptional in every way, except you cannot drive to the hotel, you have to take the steps down from the center of town. But the hotel will help you with your bags. If walking around the paths and many steps on the hillside of Ravello is not your thing, than this is just not your town to vacation.

Stunning views!!!!!! Unsurpassed assistance and care from Salvatore!!!!!!!!! All rooms seemed to be of different shapes and with different balcony and porch sizes. Our room was called Queen Room with Sea View. The room was very small but luxurious. We had 3 large porches and a hot tub. We lived outside most of the time. It was great to jump into the hot tub at the end of each day of walking. Breakfasts were great in the garden area We included pictures of our views and a very large room below us.

If I could give 100 stars for this stay I would! I have traveled to over 50 countries and stayed in many exceptional hotels, resorts, etc., but Villa Barluzzi is now at the top of my list. Salvatore and his staff are exceptional in every way, welcoming us as family. Their passion for service and their guests is unmatched. The property is not only beautiful, it is a work of art. We stayed in the Kronos suite which completely exceeded our expectations with a private terrace and garden. We cannot wait to return and experience this beautiful property again!
