Villa Barluzzi

Oh goodness! So much to add…from our welcome from Salvatore, to the beautiful rooms, amazing views and hospitality from the ladies at breakfast, Villa Barluzzi was one of the biggest highlights of our trip to the Amalfi Coast! We would definitely come here again! Absolutely loved everything about it!!

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was absolute perfection!!!!

We loved our stay at Villa Barluzzi! The property is simply stunning, the conversion of a church from the 11th century and no expense was spared. True craftsmanship! Our room was elegant, but comfortable. The breakfast was great and we loved the layout of the villa. The views of the Amalfi coast are nothing short of spectacular! But far and away what sets this place apart is the incredible staff, lead by Salvatore. He is an absolute gem, eager to help in all ways and eager to make sure you enjoy your stay to the fullest. He has an infectious energy that makes you feel all of the Italian culture in Ravello. I will be surprised if this doesn’t become one of the highest rated places to stay in Ravello. Stay at Villa Barluzzi, you will not be disappointed! Ciao!

Everything! Our host (best in Southern Italy), Customized breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea below Ravello, the location - close to the town square, Villa Cimbrone, Villa Rufulo, the meticulously and thoughtful restoration made it hard to leave VB to explore Ravello and the surrounding towns but that would be a same. This hidden gem will be hard to reserve next year and I am blessed to have experienced a stay at the most luxurious boutique in Amalfi.

If you ask my husband with 2 bad knees, he may say the stairs to and from the villa but isn't that the case with any villa in Ravello or the Amalfi coast?!

Ravello is amazing. Villa Barluzzi is outstanding. Salvatore, the Villa Manager, is amazing, friendly, welcoming, knowledgable, helpful... I could go on. The Villa itself is out of this world. The view from our balcony was breathtaking. The breakfast was excellent. The staff super friendly. Our room was amazing. Clean, and beautiful, and comfortable. My wife sprained her ankle, and Salvatore saved the day, helping us get to room, and helping us get dinner and ice.

We should have booked more time!!! We had four days, next time, we will try to stay more days, so we can do more exploring, both of the coast, the towns below for shopping and restaurants, and the hikes from Ravello. But I could also see us just crash in our room, eat breakfast on the balcony, and relax.

We stayed in the Icarus room for our wedding and it was a once in a lifetime experience. Getting to stay in a 13th century chapel with 30ft high ceilings is nothing but unique and the view from our balcony and garden left nothing to be desired. Salvatore was attentive, efficient and ever so friendly and even assisted with organising a few last minute wedding bits due to his contacts and local knowledge. The breakfast was nice and served to us In our room on the large table with overlooked the coast. For the price of the room the location and level of service Salvatore provides in a stunning setting in an expensive region I would say you certainly get what you pay for.

A stunning 12th century property, beautifully restored and decorated. Breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast in the pretty (and not so busy) Ravello. Salvatore was such a fabulous host, and the staff were terrific. Thank you for a wonderful stay

The villa was very nice and quiet. Great proximity to the city center. Salvatore was very helpful and had fantastic recommendations. The staff was very accommodating, the room was clean, and the view was unmatched.
