"Superb"

Staff was very nice, offered us a free upgrade and held our luggage while we were on Pulau Weh. Room was clean and spacious.

Only 1 towel per person. Breakfast had a great variety of choices, however, they were continuously running out of food items, and they were slow to replace them. Food at the top roof bar was expensive and mediocre.

The staf, the hotel.

I stay room 405 and 320 Room 320 superb But room 405: The drain in shower cubicle: water out very very slow The shower pressure not smooth and consider slow The toilet door, need to replace or paint. The rest, consider excellence.

"Good Accommodation"

Travelled with my family of 5 (husband, sister-in-law, 2 infants and myself) for 5 nights. Good hotel, spacious room, and friendly staff. 3 stars as I experienced some weird scratching noise on the ceiling on the 1st night (do not want to change room as we are tired) and rats squeaking noise on the last night. I am just glad I did not encounter any mickey mouse during my stay.

"Seem nice but not worth as what you pay."

We dont have any lack of communcation here because our langguage is similar to each other. I do expect my room with some of surprise element because we are staying there to celebrate our anniversary, but non. The room quit okey, seem nice. Got a window but the view only the next building wall. Water leaking at toilet area. The towel so smelly. But the area is so strategic. You can only walk to the tourist attraction. ATM machine infront door. Also the street food infront the hotel area. Overall, it is nice place to stay but must improve if you want to maintain good bussiness.

found this as an alternative and happy to experience the stay. location of the hotel is walking distance to the Museum Tsunami. Room is spacious but wish the aircon is cooler. we visited the lounge on the roof top but the last order closed earlier that it stated. if it open longer, better, for us who wish to continue discussing some business issue.

"False advertising and omg the staff..."

We decided to stay in Arabia on a way to Pulau Weh after long and tiring journey from London. We were hoping for a relaxing stay and didn’t mind spending a bit more to get a chance to sleep in a comfy bed after so much travelling. And while the exterior of the hotel and reception area looks just like advertised, the rooms themselves were way below expected standard and reception staff... omg just painful. So, just to start. We booked our stay way in advance. Upon arrival (5 pm) nobody bothered to help us with the luggage. After dragging them inside we were informed (with great difficulty) that our rooms are still dirty and we have to wait - 10 mins. No big deal right? Well, I mean after travelling for almost 24 hrs, sweaty and tired af I really wanted to just finally chill in my room but ok. Happens. After half an hour waiting with no info what so ever I asked to use the toilet. Answer: ”no, room dirty’. Either there was no other toilet available (sic!) or staff was just too dumb to let me use it..? Anyway, difficult to know because of the ladies in the reception hardly spoke any English - and I mean it. Don’t get me wrong, I worked in Asia and I did not expect any great language skills from them but if you claim to be a three star hotel at least have someone who can understand a toilet question. Finally, after almost an hour long wait rooms were ready and we were asked to pay - before seeing the rooms of course. The girls in the reception seemed to not know if they accept visa (?): “card?” “Yes card” “oo” “it’s visa” “visa?” “Yes visa. Is Visa ok?” “Visaaa” “ ok? Cash ok?” “Visa?” And so on. I spare you, it was painful. when they finally decided they take visa, they took the payment without having any paper in the card machine. The receipt didn’t print and we were stuck standing there with them wondering what to do (I guess. They were just staring at the machine and talking between each other holding the card and completely ignoring us) It was ridiculous. Eventually my husband was asked to show his bank statement (sic!) to prove to them that the payment went through and even after he did so the ladies were still standing there, staring at the machine and completely ignoring him talking to them. He literally was standing there saying “so can we go to the room now please? Hello? Is it ok now? Can we go?” And they flat ignored him. So we took the card and just left - great customer service. Negatives: - one electric outlet in the room (seriously?) - rooms were damp and windowless. Drawers didn’t close. Sinks in the bathroom wobbly and water was leaking on the floor. Concrete missing near utilities. Paint coming off the ceiling because of the humidity- I know, Asia but then for 50£ a night??? - Literally as I am writing this review I noticed a cockroach walking on the bedside table, was going to give it 2 stars but that’s that gone. - Smelly Positives: - decent WiFi - atm nearby - seems clean (but then the cockroach...) - great coffee with decent breakfast Distaster.
