Hôtel La Prison

Mi è piaciuto il silenzio. Non mi è piaciuto che la finestra fosse in alto e inaccessibile e guardasse su un muro.

Had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at Hotel La Prison. We stayed in a standard cell which had amazing views over the valley and river, modern en suite and very comfortable bed. The hotel has been beautifully modernised, keeping many historic aspects with modern art, quirky sculptures and gorgeous views from the pool and hotel exterior. The hotel sits next to a stunning cathedral, and walking distance to narrow cobbled streets, restaurants and pretty squares. The hotel restaurant was closed for dinner during our stay but we had breakfast which was well stocked with continental meats, cheese, mini pastries, scrambled eggs, French bacon and local bread and fruit. Well worth €15pp. I would not hesitate in recommending this fabulous hotel in Beziers.

Super endroit si on cherche un endroit atypique, on est vraiment en immersion. Je ne reprendrais pas la petite chambre, elle est vraiment étroite et pas très confortable. Pour le reste c’était niquel.

Très agréables à tous points de vue. Suggestions : - mettre un revêtement antiglisse dans le vac à douche - au bistrot prevoir des plateaux pour le petit dejeuner Bonne continuation

This is just an unimaginably extraordinary hotel in a beautiful city. Felix and Arthur at the restaurant were just superb. The intimidating history of the property is immediately forgotten as soon as you walk in and walk the hotel. Food is delicious and the rooms, while cell-like (no pun intended) are comfortable. Don't let the history of the building scare you. This is a Jewel in Beziers.

Bellissima struttura opera di un recupero eseguito con grande lungimiranza. Personale attento e disponibile.

Séjour très décevant, suite à notre réservation, à notre arrivée, le personnel a omis de nous indiquer que la "cellule" était à côté de l'escalier métallique, avec une fenêtre qui donnée sur un mur à 50 cm au rez-de-chaussée, à côté de l'ascenseur. Ils ont reconnu eux-mêmes à notre départ qu'il n'y en avait que 3 comme ça. Il est dommage que l'on ne nous ait pas prévenus à notre arrivée et laissé le choix de payer un supplément.

A lovely setting and a great place to stay in Béziers. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Will stay here again.
