It was an amazing experience staying at the prison hotel. The rooms were of course small which is expected for a prison and part of the entire experience. The attached bathroom was quite roomy and everything was clean and bright. Even though there was no air conditioning in the room it was very comfortable by opening a large window that let a nice breeze in - even in the middle of July. If you stay here I would highly recommend their restaurant for dinner - reservations are strongly recommended. On top of all the features and ambience of the hotel you can walk around town to see the sights. Overall an A experience.

This is an amazing buidling, beautifully converted and in the centre of the historic city. Full of lovely pieces of art. A real experience. One important thing that would improve it though would be to have a fridege in the room and also tea/coffee making facilities. There are no televisions in the room either but that didn't bother me so much. Very good value also.

Amazing repurposing on an old prison. Great modern art. Room was comfortable and the view from the restaurant is second to none. Parking is not on site but not far away. Great place.

Staying in an old prison was a very fun experience. The art work and furniture is all very cool. It was a little hot with just the ceiling fan. Pool was wonderful! Amazing views!! We lucked out with parking and got a space up top and just left our car there for three days. About 20.00 a day. The restaurant was good and there was another really good one by the fountain near by. Staff at the hotel were all very nice and helpful. Would recommend

What a wonderful place , old prison made into very good standard hotel . Very cleverly done , staff nice , swimming pool is ideal for cooling down in the heat - it was hot when I was there ! Loved it
