Hôtel La Prison

A unique experience and great views.

We loved its unique architecture, the swimming pool, the restaurant and the spectacular view from the terrace.

Lovely property. Great views. Friendly, helpful staff. Get reservations for their restaurants, as they get busy.

The hotel is very chic and stylish. It's central location is excellent, with the cathedral, shops and restaurants all in easy walking distance. Our group stayed in the basic twin bedrooms which whilst small, were very comfortable, clean, with fabulous views across the countryside. The lack of any tea or coffee making facilities in the room is an issue. The hotel staff, particularly the reception staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, sorting out dinner reservations for the three evenings of our stay. However, the hotel only notified us a couple of days before our arrival that it was necessary to book a table in the hotel restaurant at least two weeks in advance for evening meals. Also, that the restaurant would be closed for two of the three evenings of our stay, hence us having to eat out every evening. On arrival we were then informed that the bar would also be closed for three evenings. As there were no tea or coffee making facilities in any of the bedrooms, it was not possible to get any drinks in the hotel when we returned each day from sightseeing around the area. I would recommend this hotel and would return but maybe avoid Sundays and Mondays when the restaurant and bar are closed particularly as many of the nearby shops and restaurants in Bezier also closed on those days

Amazing, from check in to check out, friendly knowledgeable staff, great breakfast, comfortable bed and sheets, beautiful hotel full of art and history, great design, I cannot wait to come back.

Quirky, fresh, modern, cool hotel. Amazing location & view. Very good breakfast. Would highly recommend.

This place is truly a great "experience"! So fascinating to see the prison from the inside with all of the historic preservation blended with comfort and style. I would definitely recommend staying here, and would think about returning!
