Sam Retreat Hoi An Villa - Peaceful Rice-Field Retreat, 10 Minutes to Hoi An Old Town

Stayed here nearly 3 months in the end. It's in a quiet area but still close to the center and the local co-working space is within walking distance. Kelly is a great host, kind and responsive. The rooms are spacious, have good beds, ac, and are modern and well kept. Internet is good too. And the breakfast was always nice.

No issues, anything minor got resolved right away.

The location and the swimming pool. It was incredibly clean. The hostess was lovely and helpful. Close enough to Hoi an to get a taxi, but in lovely paddy field countryside with lots of supermarkets, restaurants and massage within walking distance. Good breakfast with variety of seasonal fruits.

The rooms only have one key so you need to leave that if you want the room cleaned. The heater for the water is on the wall outside the bathroom and you need to switch it on. These are minor points, but worth noting for future guests.

Very cosy and takes a short bicycle ride to get to the center (can get the bicycles for free at the hotel)

A very peaceful place with beautiful views and lovely staff. The photo makes it look quite isolated but it's in a residential area close to anything you might need. There's a great restaurant less than 2 mins walk away in case you don't want to go further and you have a local high street and local market within 5 minutes walk. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast was good. I had a room without a balcony but the view from the window was fantastic. I hope to return here later in this trip

It's a minor thing - the fridge is a small one with a very small freezer compartment and, since the electricity is on a key card, it doesn't stay very cold.

Very comfortable, helpful and friendly staff, nice pool, free bicycles. 😀

Kelly, the receptionist was amazing and so helpful! she constantly checked in on me via whatsapp as I was travelling alone and the breakfast I had every day was delicious. Thank you Kelly!

My experience at SAM Retreat Villa was exceptional. Every essential functioned flawlessly, and the room itself was impeccably clean, spacious, tranquil, and secure. Highly recommended!!!
