Outstanding Stay – Truly Amazing! I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible hotel for 2 nights, and everything exceeded expectations. From the moment we arrived, Enis and the entire team were warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive—truly making us feel at home. The food was absolutely exceptional, with every meal beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The service throughout our stay was top-notch—professional, friendly, and always going the extra mile. The pool area was immaculate and perfect for relaxing, and the hotel itself was beautifully maintained, offering a calm and luxurious atmosphere. A fantastic experience from start to finish—highly recommended and definitely a place I’d love to return to!
The GA Palace Hotel is gorgeous. The room was luxurious, featuring an incredibly comfortable King-sized bed, a giant bathroom, and even unique amenities like a beach bag. The breakfast was also a highlight — I only wish I knew what all the pastries were, I would eat them every day if I could!
This is a magnificently renovated / rebuilt property. Absolutely outstanding from the decor to the fittings and ammenities to the amazing indoor / outdoor pool. The designers did a wonderful job. Unfortunately there are problems though. While the reception staff are great, very helpful, courteous and very welcoming , some other staff are pretty ordinary. People probably won't read this review because it is an outlier. But we had some really disappointing interactions. 1: at the pool we waited about 15 to 20 minutes for our drinks which were really poor. 2: Breakfast was painful. The reception lady was pleasant, courteous and professional. But the wait staff were very amateurish and very poorly trained (if in fact they were ever trained at all!) It took ages to receive our tea and coffee.. and the teapot was full of .. you guessed it.. hot water!!! No tea..The coffee had been left on the bar for ages ( we observed it) and so it arrived tepid. We ordered from the menu egg dishes and they were tiny and uninspiring , again not as described. All in all, this would have to have been one of our very greatest holiday disappointments. So much effort has gone into designing and building this hotel but they forgot to train the staff effectively. I hope for the owners sake they can fix it soon. It should be a 10 from 10 but afraid not for us this time..

Beautiful hotel! Staff is wonderful and breakfast has something for everyone. Food was delicious. Comfortable beds and pool and spa are great after a long day of sightseeing. Will definitely stay again when in Porto.
The GA hotel is a nice and very friendly,quiet place although just near the main old town. The breakfast is magnificent and the rooms are great. The staff is very friendly and I can mention Mr. Rui Costa whom served us and the girl that made us the check in.
