Where to begin... Having stayed here previously as a whole family, I can honestly say this is one of the most beautifully styled and luxurious venues in the entire Val d'ossola, quite possibly beyond. The staff and the owners are genuine and welcoming which takes a stay here to another level. Villa Chiovenda as undergone a deeply loving restoration. Incredible attention to detail with superb appointments and finishes adds to its opulence. The bedrooms and bathrooms are excellent. Even the smaller rooms feel open, light and comfortable. The larger rooms are quite exceptional with more than enough of space where two people can luxuriate. The pool design its self is award winning and its contemporary style is of well measured contrast to the surrounding architecture. You can sit in there and drink in the magnificent mountain scenery with a glass of champagne. I did. Like the entire building, the garden has to been a labour of love and well thought out. It provides numerous places to seclude yourself or to engage with other guests whilst not being overlooked. There is plenty of parking on the private grounds and I can confirm that owners of large SUV's can traverse the short historic road towards the impressive gates onto the gravel driveway, just take your time. We are to make a third visit in September 2024 and I honestly cannot wait to be there!

The villa is truly delightful, boasting a charming garden where you can relish breakfast. The immaculately designed interior features comfortable room and luxurious bathroom. The hosts are exceptionally warm and welcoming. Nestled in the picturesque village of Premesello, the villa serves as an ideal starting point for numerous trails leading to the magnificent Vale Grande. While a car is necessary for exploring nearby restaurants, do not hesitate to consult your hosts for excellent recommendations within the area. This is a hidden gem!

This old estate has been a very pleasant place to stay. It has been renovated to a very high standard and kept since in a very nice state. The attention to detail is appreciated, the breakfast was as well to a high standard.

It's a lovely place to enjoy time relaxing.

An astonishingly kind and hospitable place, a real discovery. Such an elegant building, so much history, but above all superb people who looked after me in every possible way. I really appreciated being able to have a delicious (vegetarian) meal served on site rather than having to go out.

Location is amazing, staff are very friendly gave great recommendations and has lots of local knowledge, views are stunning and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. And it has a swimming pool.

Location, surroundings and interior are absolutely beautiful. Vegetarian dinner was fantastic. Very dog friendly! But best of all: Fransesca, a truly warm host!

Breakfast was fresh but a bit limited (italian style). A lot of mosquitos. Not something the hotel can do about of course, but if you are reading this, bring a good spray!

Lovely house and beautiful garden with views of the mountains. Very welcoming and kind hosts who went out of their way to solve a problem for us.
