This has been a wonderful stay albeit too short. The Villa is a perfect jewel and our lovely host Nicola and his staff did everything to make our stay unforgettable. We definitely hope to return next year.

The residence is absolutely stunning - inside and out. Clearly a labour of love Villa Chiovenda oozes charm and class. We stayed one night on the way to the Italian lake district and I wished we simply stayed put at Villa Chiovenda. The decor, quality, everything was perfect. It's five star quality for an absolute bargain. We will definitely be back.

There's nothing I didn't like. Everything was perfect!

The owners and manager were extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. The location is breathtaking and the bedroom and bathroom was beautiful. A stunning, tranquil spot.

Friendly, accommodating, make you feel at home staff. Beautiful, out of the beaten path location, impressive attention to detail and quality in the decoration and rooms/garden/pool area. They don´t have an official restaurant but depending on availability the may prepare an nice aperitivo or even an easy going dinner for you (we did enjoy that a lot in their garden). Will gladly return.

It was apparently the hottest week of the year, and well above the average temperatures in the area... and therefore we noticed the lack of A/C (we understand this wouldn´t be needed in normal circumstances in the area).
