DuBois Manor Motel

Old old old. Fridge no microwave. Bed was lumpy and old. I got out of paying but a 40$ cash only deposit is unexpected and unacceptable. Will not repeat my stay.

There was nothing i liked from staying there. Note to self that its on my list of places never to stay again.

Great simple room that was perfect for a night where all I needed was a long, hot shower and good night sleep. No-frills but had everything I needed. Room had a refrigerator and microwave, which was nice although I didn’t use them. I would have preferred a coffee machine. Bed was comfortable, Shower worked great and everything was clean. Was a great value I would stay there again.

Nice clean room, an excellent value for the money. I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. No loud customers and a peaceful stay. The bed was comfortable and staff was friendly as well. I would rate this motel a 4 1/2 stars only because of the weird power line that was a bit low in front of the room so you had to duck under if you wanted to go straight to the car and one piece that was missing was a microwave oven. Otherwise the bathroom was well stocked and it was impeccably clean throughout the room, the most important aspect for me.

Definitely not the finest motel I've ever been in, but not the worse either. Lady that I spoke with and set up my reservation was pleasant. Rooms are small, but comfortable. Will be staying here again.

I knew we were in trouble when the check-in counter turned out to be little more than a window, behind which sat a quiet little man with long, broken, dirty fingernails. He moved slowly and took a long time to check us in, the last step of which was him turning on the circuit breakers to send electricity to our room. And the room did feel like nobody had been in there for ages. It was old and dreary. There were no amenities to speak of. We had to pull a nightstand away from the wall to find an outlet to recharge our phones. We stayed there as a last-minute spur-of-the-moment emergency when no other motel had availability. I can't say that I saw anything visibly wrong, but if you're at all squeamish, I wouldn't recommend it.

For the money it was worth the stay. Staff was friendly and courteous. The beds were comfortable for the price I paid to stay there. The area was pretty decent too. May just need a little tlc but other than that a good choice.

My brother rented a room there this week, which he was in by himself. He lives in Michigan, but was working in the area with a tree management company. He had fever and chills so he got a Covid test. He told management not to come into his room, to just leave towels outside and he would take care of the trash. The owner said he had to leave, he was “costing her business”. This is not only illegal, it is immoral. However he did not want to fight it and found a different hotel to move to. The ignorance and cruelty displayed by this hotel defies any explanation.
