DuBois Manor Motel

If all you need is a place to lay your head down, then this is the place. Paying high prices is for fools. No frills place for a great price, and it is close to everything in the city. You have a restaurant right next door, as well as a Martin's supermarket just up the road.

Very unprofessional staff. Not even Americans. I asked for an extra pillow and they refused to give me one until morning. As my wife and I were sleeping our cheaply crafted headboard fell down awakening us rudely. We called the office and they said they would look at it in the morning and never looked at it. Room was decent sorta clean. Hot water in the shower lasts 5 mins then turns to ice. The beds are like sleeping on a rock. The television service cuts in and out. Wifi craps out. The temperature is either hot or hot. The ac barely works. Small fridge in room was on the lowest setting. Just and overa crappy and dumpy motel. I may file a lawsuit on these individuals because of the headboard whacking my wife and I heads. Please reconsider your stay. You get what you pay for, under $50 a night. There are other hotels around that are better than this one.

A return quest for 16 years. For the price you can't go wrong. Not very modern, but clean. Ken, the owner is a very nice gentleman. Housekeepers are friendly, and for a few dollars will bring extra pillows and towels. A lot of construction workers lodge here. It is a pet friendly motel. Our last visit, we there for 10 days. Had dogs on both sides of us. Bathrooms are a bit out of date. Good water pressure. Ask for the king bed. Rooms are more spacious.

As you drive up to this hotel the first thing you notice is that the outside of this hotel has not been updated in a long time. You check in and find out that the room has not been updated in an even longer time. My room was clean. most of the TV channels did not come in very clear. It was as if they were getting their channels through an antenna. For a nights sleep I ill rate it ok but if you had to stay longer I would recommend you find another hotel.

Old, outdated and over the hill describes this place. An independent hotel can be older with certain charm but not here. The walls were painted and patched paneling with low ceilings and a floral wallpaper border. DuBois Manor was probably built in the 1950's and has had few changes, which is most pronounced in the bathroom. The paint was peeling off the old wall heater as well as the ceiling and where the walls meet the tile. Rust was coming out if the back of the toilet. The first hotel we tried to stay at had no vacancy so we picked this place based on favorable reviews and the fact it was late and we were tired. As my husband who is much less discriminating than I am commented, this makes you doubt all reviews. The place was reasonably clean, but it is a clean dump. They are resurfacing their parking lot, but they need to renovate or tear down the motel and start over.

Ok room. Cheap place to sleep. Very clean. Fridge in the room. Older hotel. Close to downtown. Two miles off the interstate. Could use some remodeling. I would rather have clean than remodeled and dirty any day though! Nice front desk staff.
