Clean and complete

The wall paint in my room has peeled off, possibly due to humidity or something similar , but it’s not big deal , just to let the property know

I booked the hotel on their official website and was asked to make payment to their Indonesian bank account before my reservation could be confirmed. So I did. But upon checking in I was asked to make payment for my hotel room. I told the receptionist Roswita that I had already made payment to their bank but she insisted that I paid at the reception counter. Not quite sure what was going on and not wanting to pick up an argument at the reception counter, I made the payment which as more than the agreed price online. Fortunately, I only stayed for one night. Upon checking out, I checked to see if they had double charged me. Indeed they had. The male staff at the reception counter on 23rd March 2025, told me that he would check with the finance team and get back to me. More than a week after I sent a reminder as there was no news. About 3 weeks after, upon my prompting, they replied on whatsapp to say that the Finance was on leave and nothing could be done. It is now almost 2 months and I am still not refunded for being double-charged. All this while, no updates have been initiated by them and they only respond when prompted. Do not stay in Sima Sumba Hotel!

The hotel is nice, near the airport. The room is small, but overall nice and neat

The WiFi wasn’t working during our stay. It was a problem with the connection in the island, but anyway. The breakfast was generally Asian, not a lot of choice for foreigners who are not used to eat soups and rice for breakfast. I personally didn’t like the pillows in the room, it was hard for me to sleep on them
