Excellent property full of history with a fantastic museum on the grounds. Lots of brilliant outdoor space to enjoy coffee or a beer. The room was very large with beautiful furniture throughout . Great air conditioning unit in the bedroom with excellent bathroom facilities. The cleaning staff make sure you have fresh towels and that your room is well maintained. The staff at reception and in the kitchen are some of the best I’ve encountered on my travels they are very friendly and go above and beyond to accommodate you. Really enjoyed this place will definitely be back in the future ☺️

Fantastic place… you feel sleeping in a museum! Out of the crowd, but still near train stations. I had really great stay

Really great cultural artifacts in the museum and the hotel itself. And just staying in the museum If it were cleaner that would definitely be a plus.

No place to hang clothes or set suitcases. One bathroom towel had a huge hole in it; both were really old and stained. The bathroom itself was not clean. We asked about a laundry service and we were told drop it off before 9 am and we would get it back by 9 the next day. The next day when we got back from seeing sights, at 3 pm I asked for the laundry and it wasn’t there. The said it would be ready the following day - after the time we would be gone. I explained we had to pack it that night as we were leaving early the next morning and they gave us blank stares and, after some heated discussion, called the laundry service. We were then told it would be ready by 6 pm. 6 pm we went back and went through the whole process again. This time we were told it would be ready by 11 pm. It was! Big sigh of relief.
