It’s a very unusual historic property with an incredible array of collectible art pieces and memorabilia. The rooms are huge and very clean. Original artwork above the bed was impressive. We were provided early check in after a long bus trip. Huge, comfortable bed. There is a bookshop with a lot of character and a beautiful restaurant nearby.

It is 20 minutes out of the centre so you will need to pay for transport to visit the central attractions. It is located down a gang, that is a busy thoroughfare for scooters which is a little unexpected. One must walk with their bags for 300 metres from the road as it is hidden from the street.

A very fancy place with a big room, historical decorations, and a fair price. The hotel itself and the neighborhood are tourist attractions, even for locals. The staff is friendly.

A bit far from the city center, especially with heavy local traffic.

El estilo del hotel, es muy curioso. Es como un museo. El personal es muy amable y eficiente.

La limpieza, especialmente en sábanas y toallas., Pocos enchufes y mal situados. No es muy accesible

I like that despite the place being near a busy road, it's not distracting, and the place remains serene. There were lots of arts and historical artifacts in their museum within the premise. Rooms were very spacious. It gave home vibes instead of the usual feels of hotel rooms. Staff were also very accommodating and nice. I will definitely recommend it to my friends, in case they want to visit Yogyakarta.

I see no fault during my stay. Everything is a wonderful experience.

Where to start , i could write a book about this magnificent hotel. Absolutely suberb. We have travelled the world and this place is one of the most stunning hotels we have ever seen. The beds are so comfortable, the rooms stunning , the history, just everything. Oh, and fantastic staff and restaurant. We couldn't believe the price for what we got . You might see some bad reviews from spoiled tourists, about the age of the hotel ect , for goodness sake , it's living history and art . The manager was so full of information, relating to the history, including why they have somexroman statues with the old owners meeting of the pope, etc . He was a wrathvof knowledge and passion for the renovation and love gobe into this very special hotel. The onsite museum and coffee shot were brilliant. Bravo and we will definitely be back .

"Incredible stay in an historic and quite landmark of Yogyakarta"

10.0

The property was an incredible corner of peace in the middle of Yogyakarta. I loved the history behind it and most importantly the extremely comfortable rooms and super helpful stuff. Do yourself a favour: book here when you come visit Yogja next and have an extremely restful and stress free stay

Nothing to report, everything was impeccable

10/10 will come again.

"We loved it, all the short comings were accepted. A great base from where to go sightseeing."

9.0

We loved the historic aspect of the property, it is a small town palace so big wow factor. It is still in the process of being restored/renovated. this did not disturb us at all, just being in such a beautiful place, filled with antiques and art was a huge treat. the beds were most comfortable. the guestlist is impressive with the polish pope having stayed there, also president Lech Walesa. The village is nice and quiet, some coffeeshops and a number of silver shops, good quality. Rumah Pesik does not have a pool or safety deposit boxes in room, no problem for us. The breakfast, we had the best muesli, coffee was super delicious. Beer nice and cold, glasses should be put in freezer,

the facilities in the bathroom were basic, staff are still to be trained further and hopefully management can work on group training to get everything looking sparkling.
