El hotel está en un edificio muy bonito con un patio impresionante. La habitación era grande y la cama muy cómoda. El aire acondicionado funciona muy bien y la habitación siempre estaba fresca.

No tenía acceso al interruptor de la luz desde la cama. No había ventana en mi habitación. El desagüe de la ducha no tragaba bien. El primer día tardaron una hora en servirnos el desayuno. Los siguientes días tardaron menos porque les decíamos el día anterior a qué hora íbamos a bajar a desayunar la mañana siguiente, lo que no resultó muy cómodo. El acceso al hotel desde la calle principal es incómodo aunque nada grave.

If you appreciate history, art, and genuine hospitality, this is the place for you. My partner and I stumbled across Rumah Pesik by accident, and it became one of the most memorable experiences of our trip. This is far more than a hotel—it’s a beautifully preserved piece of Indonesian history, filled with antique furniture, traditional artwork, and fascinating stories around every corner. The owner, Ershad, is an incredibly kind and generous host. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us warmly and shared the remarkable history of the property and its artefacts. What makes Rumah Pesik so special is not only the collection itself, but the passion with which its history is brought to life. One of the highlights was the museum and the stories behind its collection, spanning Javanese heritage, Indonesia’s colonial past, and ancient civilisations. Even the Roman-style statues at the entrance have an incredible story connected to a previous owner and the Vatican. Every part of the property feels like a living museum. The breakfast each morning was delicious, and the on-site Kopi Kamu café was fantastic—a perfect place to relax and enjoy great coffee in such a unique setting. If you’re looking for a standard hotel, this may not be for you. But if you want to immerse yourself in history, culture, and authentic Indonesian hospitality, I cannot recommend Rumah Pesik highly enough. Thank you to Ershad and the wonderful staff for an unforgettable stay. We leave with amazing memories and a much deeper appreciation for Indonesia’s rich history and culture.

Hotel molto particolare, con un ampio cortile/giardino interno che è un vero e proprio museo. Aspetto sicuramente apprezzabile. In auto si può arrivare a 150-200 metri di distanza, all'imbocco della via, perché la stradina è troppo stretta per permettere passaggio di un'auto. Staff molto giovane, ma estremamente disponibile. Stanza enorme, provvista di condizionatore. Colazione espressa, la sera prima bisogna comunicare cosa si vuole da un menu ad hoc: buonissimo yogurt con granola.

Segnale wi-fi forte solo nel cortile. Sicuramente da migliorare pulizia. Lenzuola con alcune macchie. E asciugamani e salviette molto lisi (con alcune toppe)

The room was spacious with beautiful furniture. In the hotel, there is a lot of pieces of art work, furniture,statues, beautiful wooden walls all around the hotel. You can walk around and look at all the things. The hotel is huge with a restaurant, coffee shop, and what looks like will be an outdoor cafe.

The entrance is down an alley way where cars cannot go. So you have luggage, you will have to bring it about 50m to the entrance.

This property is a hidden gem. Historically a former Royal palace that for a period went into disrepair. It has been lovingly brought back to life. Whilst still a work in progress the it is still a gem. A combination of heritage building Art collection and comfort. The grounds and rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff were beyond helpful. Management are proactive a quick to assist in any shortcomings. Go there now while it is still affordable

Not a problem for me but the entrance is a 100 m walk down a small alley.
