All went well but extremely difficult to find place even for local Grab driver plus hotel locations in narrow street not accessible by car is not marketed in any way whatsoever.....so driver contact hotel twice just to find direction....!!!!!!

A wonderful treat. Well worth a stay in this historical gem. Dont forget to request a private tour of the museum.

It’s a heritage museum hotel. Location is bit of centre. But very nice and quiet. Comfortable bed and helpful staff.

As the hotel is situated inside a small road you have to walk 3-4 minutes to get to the main road. Bit dated the rooms. Hard to find taxi / scooter hard to find where it is. But once you are there you seems to know the way.

Staff not speaking english, no curtains in the room meaning there was always light, no cleaning of room, lot of noise from surroundings, we left after 2 nights because we could not sleep here

The property is a gem inside the city. It is a very large and expansive property tucked away behind a little alleyway. The property itself is decorated with artifacts and statues that speak to the history of the place. The hotel is filled with fascinating art and history. It’s not often one gets to stay in the refurbished lodgings that were once reserved for literal royalty. The owner and receptionists were be very nice and welcoming. The rooms are very spacious, with sprawling historical architecture and furniture. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the hotel was very accommodating of dietary restrictions. The breakfast was also very reasonably priced. There are multiple courtyards and spaces in the hotel that are worth exploring both at night and during the day. The museum inside the hotel is also free to hotel guests, and is worth visiting, with an extensive collection of various artifacts from different parts of the world, from Thailand to Egypt. The little cafe inside the hotel serves excellent popsicles. The hotel is also home to a cat that is very affectionate with guests.

There was no hot water in the bathroom, and this was not fixed for 2 consecutive nights even though the receptionists promised someone would look into this. Also, there were few accessible outlets with which to charge outlets in the room. Our large Family Room only had one outlet, which was only accessible after we unplugged their diffuser.
