The CIVYT

Our stay at this boutique small hotel was nothing short of perfect, so much so that we extended our visit by another five days! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. They were incredibly friendly, always helpful, and went above and beyond to make our experience special. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a serene view of the big, beautiful trees outside. It was a peaceful retreat where we enjoyed restful nights on the exceptionally comfortable bed. We were also delighted by thoughtful touches, like the surprise delivery of homemade cookies. The hotel offers excellent amenities and services, including scooter rentals and laundry, both of which were arranged seamlessly for us. The cleanliness was impeccable, and we loved the fresh, delightful scent of the towels—a small detail that made a big impression. Its location, slightly hidden from the main road, added to the tranquil atmosphere we were looking for. We couldn’t have asked for a better combination of charm, comfort, and hospitality. Highly recommended, and we’d gladly return!

Loved my stay here! Was pleasantly surprised after being dropped off at a building site! Keep walking, you'll get there:). Room was bright, comfortable and super clean including the bathroom. The shower was great! The bed oh, so comfortable! Had a noisy neighbour one night and What'sApped the front desk, it was immediately sorted out. Only ate one breakfast here which was fresh and delicious. Hope to be back in the not too distant future.

Super stylish! I loved the design of our room that was so practically laid out. Especially adored the reading lights that you can adjust from the sides of the bed. The reception staff were so incredibly sweet and helpful. Loved the fact that the host provided a tote bag and coasters as a gift… we use them everyday and reminds us of the wonderful time spent at THE CIVYT. The breakfast options are great as well, a variety to choose from and very tasty. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be close to the vibe of Ubud but just far enough away to enjoy some tranquility. Everything is within walking distance : )

Design was basic but very well done. The forest surround was lovely, as was the tinkling stream.

Overall very good condition compared with other places we have stayed in Ubud.

WiFi signal could be better, but it's a common problem in Bali

The rooms and beds were very nice. Bathroom and balcony was also nice.

It is a long walk to town, apron 1.2km - problem is the amount of cars/scooters on the narrow road.
