The Present River Villa Hoi An

Excellent location, great staff!, the rooms are well cleaned, the bed was comfortable, you can hire motorbikes and use bicycles and they also offered advice on tours and so forth. The big sell is the location really. - The soundproofing in the room was quite good actually that was also a plus. The view was also good.

There are really only two things that are bad: the air conditioning is shocking - it's not consistent so it wavers between freezing cold and then not seeming to be very effective, this hotel could go from a 7 to a 10 if they replaced the air conditioning units. The other thing is that the hot water goes hot. Cold, hot, cold, hot cold which is not such a big deal but for some people it would be annoying. The hotel staff are really good and I wish that the air conditioning and water situation would be fixed. They are my only complaints.

Great location - can easily walk or bike around old town. Close to restaurants and bars. Room was spacious and the balcony looks over the river - can be a little noisy at times but I am a deep sleeper so it didn’t bother me too much! Staff were friendly and helpful.

Easy to access Hoi An centre, a 5 minute walk away. Staff were friendly & helpful. Rooms were spotless.

Outside of hotel is a car/coach car park where they leave cars to idle for hours. Also there is a restaurant underneath on the ground that when plays music can be heard in the rooms.

Location and staff.

Great location. Welcoming and helpful staff. The bed was comfortable but no chair in room. There were 2 hard wooden chairs on the balcony - quite uncomfortable. Bathroom/shower etc were good.

Chairs as above, no light switch or lamp near the bed. AC was erratic at times. Nice looking pool but it is almost in the lane outside.

Lovely small hotel located on the bridge of the old town so within walking distance to everything and a little quieter than staying on the main drag. Staff were very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us, were very apologetic about the building work which was no inconvenience to us. Great to have a pool in the city to cool off. Room was modern and comfortable. Free bikes available on asking and cheap laundry service available.

Only 2 sun beds in pool area, but otherwise no complaints at all

Really beautiful little hotel with great facilities. We absolutely loved the room and the staff were so sweet making an effort to talk to us the whole time we were there. The free bicycles were super helpful as well :)

There was some work being done while we stayed that started quite early and was a bit noisy but they would stop when we asked so it didn’t affect our stay, the staff were very sweet.
