Emeralda Resort Tam Coc

The rooms we got were huge and gorgeous. I don’t believe I’ve every had such a big room…. And I’ve travelled a lot. The staff: special mention to Tracy Trang who is a superstar on the front desk. She arranged motorbikes for us, advised us on the trips we did and the order in which we should take them etc. Unusual for a hotel: Tracy organised the motorbikes and we paid directly at the rental shop. Saving us top ups from the hotel. What stands out: we forgot 1 shirt. Tracy went out of her way to ensure it was send to one of our next hotel’s on our trip. We insisted to pay the cost ….. of VND 17.000 = €0,56….

I can’t really think of anything. Might be nice to have a larger pool bar with more seats with a view of the fantastic scenery right behind the hotel. Maybe: the endless ‘photo shoot’ sessions of semi professionals - but this seems to be everywhere in VN

This place is like a mirage: absolutely beautiful hotel in a stunning location! I kept thinking it was like a dream!!! Staff very attentive. Fun ride in electric buggy to our room. Quiet, pretty pool. Stunning room: silky robes, bags & hats to borrow. Loved the decor: luxurious! Breakfast buffet had everything, and it was never busy! Bikes were cheap to rent. Great location: you could watch the boats go by.

The resort was amazing, rooms are spacious and breakfast is delicious. There is lots to do at the resort. Excellent location to see the rest of Ninh Binh. Nga, the receptionist was amazing. We accidentently left a bag at the hotel after check out, and she arranged for a taxi to bring the bag to us Duc also went out of his way to help us.

Really great hotel, super spacious and very good for the value. It offers bicycle hire. The restaurant is delicious.

We've stayed in Emeralda for few nights in May and it was brilliant. The hotel is situated in the heart of Tam Coc in a stunning location. Hotel is very spacious, rooms are huge and our terrace was great. Breakfast was very good, especially loved the pho and the omelettes. Swimming pool is nice and spacious and open until 21:00, however there isn't many sunbeds. Bar near the swimming pool serves some good cocktails, but they are pricey. Views around the hotel are amazing. Our favourite activity in Tam Coc was renting ebikes and cycling around, you can rent it via hotel or go directly to the rental business which is 5min walk away, it's much better than pushbikes or mopeds. I would definitely stay in Emeralda again, can't really fault it.

Great location in the middle of the city. Lot of choices at the breakfast.

The hotel looks like it has its best years behind it. Windows in the rooms can't be opened. The tour provided by the hotel was quite expensive and the guide from the hotel was difficult to understand.
