Emeralda Resort Tam Coc

Loved the staff, location and the cleanliness of the room

There is a nightclub across the river which was meant to have stopped at 10- reception staff have told us when we were checking out we should have let them know about the noise after 10 and they would have stopped it for us.

The hotel was a central location to Ninh Binh and the tam coc area, lovely hotel and restaurant. Friendly staff

Nothing to not like

Nice resort in excellent location on riverside and quiet, but also close to centre of Tam Coc. Our room was very large & spacious with beautiful riverside views. Plenty of room for packing & unpacking suitcases. Large, lovely bathroom with bath tub and shower. Staff helpful & pleasant.

Food in restaurant was adequate but not the best for us - other equivalent hotels in Vietnam have offered better quality & choice for our taste, both at breakfast & in evenings. Evening meals expensive for what they were,

Great location , the staff are very nice and kind Also great breakfast- kids loved it And the pool was hot and nice to swim In the cold weather

The Beds were extremely small

Tran was very nice to us. Every staffs were nice and lots of smile.

Location is great, staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are very nice and in good condition. NOTE: There are two Emeralda resorts in the area. If you have a driver, make sure to tell them Emeralda Tam Coc, NOT Ninh Binh.

There was a sewage smell in the bathroom after using the shower. It went away after 5-10 minutes but it was pretty strong. Breakfast was not that great compared to other higher-end hotels. Selection was good, but the quality ands taste was just fair. Compared to other hotels, the amount of staff (in the dining room) was perhaps a little low.

We got a free upgrade. The room was very large and had a great view. The staff were very helpfull.
