Ambassador Signature Cruise - Lan Ha Bay

Exceptional staff, couldn’t get enough of the food.

Entertainment vibe was very different to the rest of the boat. Activities feel a little to prescribed and same as every other cruise. Hike is much more difficult than described.

Absolutely amazing experience in a beautiful part of the world. The staff were wonderful and so helpful. Life long memories were made!

No free tea, coffee, or water available, considering the price of the cruise, was a disappointment.

We are two sisters in our mid 60s and chose the 2 night 3 day cruise. From the moment we were checked in to ambassador’s exclusive lounge we were treated to 5 star service. On boarding we were greeted with smiles and given 2 keys to our cabin which was the executive balcony on the second deck. The cabin was spacious and well set out with spaces for baggage and hanging and included complimentary slippers and robes. The extensive buffet catered for all tastes and on the second day there were number of Indian guests so they also had some delicious Indian selections as well. The purpose of our trip was for the amazing food and luxurious comfort. We were not disappointed, it was more than we expected. We had the option of the three excursions and activities but opted to enjoy the vessel and our surroundings, so did not partake in these. As we had already had the international buffet lunch on our first day we were provided with a special service lunch inclusive of several seafood dishes and local specialties. As most reviewers have mentioned the wonderful food this was certainly a highlight of the cruise for us. The evening entertainment was varied and catered for the variety of guests. A very special thankyou to Phu (Steven)who introduced himself as the bar manager, however he seemed to be much more than his title suggested. He booked transportation for us to our next destination in Ninh Binh and looked after us when we returned to Ambassador lounge while we were waiting for it. Also a very big thankyou to Quien , (Ken) the young man that informed every passenger individually about the activities, meal times and other services available. We would definitely recommend the 2 night cruise to totally enjoy not only the awesome Signature Ambassador experience but also the incredible Ha Long (mother dragon, google it !) and Ha Lan bay. All the staff we encountered were friendly and courteous. Thankyou team for an unforgettable experience!! Cheers from two Aussie ladies!

Everything was wonderful

We chose the very best cabin and it was superb. The balcony was wonderful to watch the scenery. The whole experience was excellent. The staff were fantastic and the food was good. We enjoyed the excursions too.

We went on a Monday no live entertainment. Should have provided some other like a DJ or music dancing after dinner.

Well maintained

Dinner was not upto the standards . Meagre quantity. Concept of paying for drinking water is unreasonable
