Frontier Hostel & Tours

The staff were immensely helpful in answering all my questions about crossing the border to Laos, booking a bus to Laos for me and exchanging my VND for LAK! The dorms were super clean and comfortable!

Excellent hostel. Room and bathroom are cleaned daily. The matress is confortable, with a huge duvet and a good light for reading. The staff is really nice and helpfull, even i some of them didn't speak a lot of english, they helped me and we could understand each other. Location is quiet, in walkable distance to center, museum, and some nice cafés in the neighbourhood.

Small points for improvement: - implement a full no-shoe policy inside the room (i.e. leave the shoes outside) - some hangers/shelfs in the room and in the boot for hanging clothes, towel, or putting glasses, cell phone

Really friendly and helpful staff, they helped us book bus tickets with pickup from the hostel. Free bikes (although we didn’t use them)

A bit far from town but still enough shops and restaurants around. Noise and power cut from construction next door

Brilliant staff who spoke the best english of any place I've stayed during my tour of Vietnam. They can help with local logistics. Good value for money. Free bicycle. This is the place to stay here.

Pillows too bulky for comfort but that's common in Vietnam

Room is small but fair for the price

Located in a lovely side street near the city centre with good neighbourhood restaurants nearby. Staff are very cheerful, friendly and helpful. Ticket booking and travel advice. Excellent WiFi. Excellent value for money.

The double room was fine for me but would be quite small for 2 people. The shower wasn't very warm. The room was a bit dusty and the bathroom shelves needed a wipe.
