The Sierra Motel

The rooms were very clean with clear attention to detail in every aspect of comfort and design! The bed was comfortable and the pink frigidaire was the icing on the cake! The owners are absolutely lovely and the sidewalks were free of ice- couldn't have been better :)

The Sierra Motel is a fantastic place to stay when visiting TC! The young owners (and only employees) are very friendly and accommodating! The room has a large coat rack, mid century modern table and chairs. The bathroom is a little tight but it worked for us. There is a stand up tiled shower along with shampoo, soap, and conditioner for your use. Also plenty of outlets to charge your devices. You will love it, takes you back to 50’s! Great access point to all fun, food, and beer you need!

Have stayed at the Sierra several times now and just love it. Barrett and Andrea are really quite friendly, the room super clean and I just like the decor. You will make a right decision to stay at the Sierra Motel!

I LOVED this place. Great hospitality. The cutest motel room I have ever seen. Such attention to detail. My only complaint is I should have come a day earlier and stayed an extra night. This is now my go-to in Traverse City.

When I travel I prefer to stay in a locally owned property with that being said it can be hit or miss. The Sierra is definitely a hit. The owners are spectacular. They were very welcoming and accommodating. The room was sparkling clean and well appointed with a coffeemaker, fridge and microwave. The decor is mid century modern and super cute. So glad they go my hard earned $ instead of one of the many conglomerates that are taking over Traverse City. PS they have a nugget ice machine!

After reading many reviews and prices, we chose The Sierra Motel. I loved how almost all reviews commented on the cleanliness and I totally agree. We are older and asked for a lower level room, which they accommodated. Room had two queens and was small, the bathroom especially, but it was so space efficient, that it was just fine. Loved how the room included a refrigerator and a microwave. The microwave settings were a little strange, but we figured it out enough to use it, lol. Car was parked right outside our door. Location was perfect for us to visit relatives and enjoy the area. Highly recommend and plan to come back ourselves.

The decor was cute, the staff was friendly, the location was great! We enjoyed our stay when traveling with friends.
