The Sierra Motel

The rooms are awesome. So much attention to detail and great aesthetics. Checking in was easy and the staff was easy to get in contact with. A real gem.

A great place to come back to each night after a day filled with sight-seeing, shopping, and dining. You will not find a pool, exercise room or free breakfast here. What you WILL find are clean, comfortable rooms in a good location and the most amazing helpful staff. Room was super clean and quite spacious considering there is also an upholstered chair along with a small dining table.( Refrigerator and microwave also) The mini Keurig was truly appreciated:) Although located on a fairly busy road, we were not bothered by traffic noise. We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every one of them. Check in and check out were seamless. I will definitely book again if we travel to the area in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

Heading back for my third time. We love it and all of its charm. The owners are so sweet and thoughtful and it’s dog friendly. I love the location too, just at the entrance of the mission peninsula.

You can feel the love for the 1950s culture in every detail. The rooms are small but impeccably clean, with bedding and mattresses exactly as you’d expect for this category. They’ve just added new bikes, and we were lucky enough to be the very first guests to try them! Riding the amazing yellow bike drew compliments from kids and adults alike. While the bikes are free, leaving $20 shows appreciation and helps support the community spirit that makes this place special.

Cute "olden days" Motel feel.

We loved staying at this well-decorated clean, comfortable “motel.” We’re not big fans of the super same hotels chains. So this was refreshing. Great personal touches, individual attention and family owned and operated. Definitely recommend staying here.
