Room's are charming although relatively small, particularly the bathrooms. Owners are very friendly and accommodating Would definitely recommend.

This is a great little gem in Traverse City! It's not a super-fancy, luxury resort, but it is spotless, and the rooms are spotless and adorable.

The Sierra Motel is the perfect place to stay. It’s cute as can be, situated close to Traverse City’s historic district, Traverse Bay and more. We’ll definitely visit again and will recommend!

The Sierra is such a groovy little motel. The decor is retro and so cool - great colors and vibe! Our room was spotless and had every convenience we needed - including a mini frig. The location is awesome - we walked everywhere. The owners were so kind and had our room ready in a jiffy. We would not hesitate to stay here again!

We were warmly greeted at the office by Barrett the proprietor and given a key to our adorable, functional, colorful room. The retro vibe and bright colors are everywhere, including our pink Keurig! There’s a bench outside each door for enjoying the weather and, in my case, reading. The owner was often asking if we needed anything; we wanted for nothing. The guests were quiet and respectful. A bonus is a restaurant right across the street, which we enjoyed when not touring wineries and a distillery. A big THANK YOU for recommending this lovely oasis.

A great motel. Cute decor with bubble-gum colors, re-prints of artwork, retro style. Clean & comfortable. It has a Keurig w/ coffee pods, microwave & small frig. There’s a central ice machine. Central to lots of lakes, parks and not far from downtown area.
