"Great Stay! Book your room in advance!"

The Sierra Motel was a great place to stay while visiting Traverse City and the surrounding areas. This hotel is modern with a retro feel. Everything has been completely renovated. The bed was very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the ability to park right in front of our room. I highly recommend this cute motel.

"Exceptional"

The Sierra Motel has a vintage look with all the modern amenities. Although the traffic noise can be a little loud, that was nothing that earplugs couldn’t fix. Everything has been updated and is very clean. We loved that we had a fridge, microwave, and Keurig. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.

"The perfect Northern Michigan midcentury modern motel in"

The Sierra Motel is the embodiment of what I always want a hotel to be — but rarely is. It was stylish yet comfortable and perfectly situated for a TC visit. The rooms were so well appointed, from the color palette and wall art, to the bathroom fixtures and shower curtain (Quiet Towne!). The owners were so lovely, warm, and helpful; they’ve really done a wonderful job with the Sierra. Highly recommend!

"Exceptional"

The owners went above and beyond with their motel. Charging for electronic devices, nicely renovated rooms/bathrooms in mid century style, free parking, pet friendly, coffeemaker, fridge - very pleasant stay. We spent two nights and can only recommend Sierra Motel.

"Great for our quick trip to TC"

Was a great place for our short stay with a pet. It’s obvious lots of hard work went into the updates and details of this motel. Super cute and fun retro decor. Extremely clean room and linens. Very comfortable bed (but wished I had brought a pillow, those only get 2-stars). Wonderfully quiet for relaxing and resting (thick walls and door, I am a light sleeper and I heard nothing outside). Such very nice owners and so accommodating. Would definitely love to stay here again.

Super cute retro styler hotel - good sized rooms and all the basic needs plus a few cute touches. Dog friendly is a huge plus. Will absolutely stay here again!
