Pros: Room was clean, mattress was comfortable, the hotel was within walking/biking distance from everything in the area. Cons: The bed frame is very sharp, I accidentally brushed against it and it left a big gash in my leg. No coffee maker in the room. The bathroom had very small amount of soap in the dispenser and 1/2 roll of toilet paper - no refills. The bare minimum was provided for towels. Walls are very thin, Some of the people staying near us were up throughout the night and disruptive.
Horrible, couldn't get into the room. Code for door didn't work. No one on site to help. Calls went to voice mail with no response. Messages went unanswered. Would not recommend. Had to find a different hotel to spend the night in.
Couldn't even get in the room. Code for the door didn't work. Tried to call no answer, left messages and did not get any response. Tried messaging...still no response. Would not recommend.
Our family had a great stay here. Cute remodeled rooms and very clean. The beds were comfortable. The room had netflix, microwave and a little table to eat at. There is a also a park and lake within walking distance too! We will definitely be back.
The room was nicely updated. Recently renovated under new ownership in 2017 per the welcome binder. The AC was great and indiviually controled to my room. Strong Wifi, thick towels, and a comfy bed. I loved the self check-in. All I had to do was click on a link from my email and click a Check-In button and I was in! No waiting around to talk to anyone. Check out was the same.
USIts definitely a motel but very nice inside. Everything is newer then expected. The beds were comfortable and I enjoyed my time there. Its really close to what Whitehall calls there downtown. There are still a few restaurants open in the winter. I would love to come back in the summer.
The room smelled strongly of cigarettes and mustiness. The ceiling looked like it might be collapsing- it was bubbled in. There was no soap in the bathroom, just two shampoos one of which had already been opened. Wall paper pealing in the bathroom. Sink coming off the wall. Old brown paneling and tile dropped ceiling. Outside was pretty dilapidated too. On the plus side the bed was comfortable, sheets and towels were clean. We were given a ten dollar discount because we had to take an "older" room but I had chosen the hotel because it was rated as 3 stars on Booking.com so I figured it would be fairly nice and we were doing a get away weekend to Michigan's west coast. By the time we got there after being at the beach it was too late too spend our evening searching for a better place. We paid $111 and there were other hotels we could have chosen from that weren't 3stars that I am sure would have been much nicer and more economical 60 for the condition of the room would have been more reasonable I felt cheated by the3 star description but they were not open to discussion.
USThe motel is under new ownership and they are in the process of updating rooms. We were there in August and were very happy with our choice to stay there. Although they were still working on improvement our room was great. Manager on-site was very nice and helpful. We will be returning again soon!
The only place left with a room available. All rooms indicated non-smoking. However, the smell of cigarettes/cigars linger. In desperate need of renovation to bring the motel out of the 50's. The carpet in the rooms was filthy, wallpaper peeling off the walls, drop ceiling needs to be replaced. For the $100 a night stay, I would run as far as you can. Also, to add, the motel is up for sale. I'm certain no renovations will be done under the current management/ownership.
Had to stop here due to bad weather. Toilet overflowed, room smelt of garbage. Neighbors load and drug addled. Tried to get my money back to no avail.
