Great location to hiking!

Would stay again..

We were traveling through on i81 and glad we found this great little motel! Laid back setting on the Blue Ridge Parkway. loved the fire pits picnic tables and benches outside. Nice outdoor space and walking trail up the hill behind hotel. Commissary was well stocked with great quality and fun snacks and souvenir items. It's nice to be able to park right by your room for convenient check-in and check out. Room was super clean, appreciated the warm touches like soft-glow light bulbs, pile rug at foot of bed. Bed was clean and comfy and we had a good nights sleep. AC is a bit loud, and we weren't able to fully figure out the settings, but it was hot outside and kept the room cool enough so it worked out OK. Couldn't get the smart TV to cast from our devices, and for some reason the overhead fan/light kept turning on and off without our intervention. But these were just minor glitches and overall, it was a great stay and we'd definitely stay again.

The outdoor space was very inviting. The rooms were very clean

Phenomenal property.........only issue was that the TV casting did not work the evening we arrived. It was fixed by the next morning.

Place was totally redone, very nice, but the room code wouldn’t work except for the room, it expired 1 hour after i got there! But overall was great.

Very quiet.

Convenient location for hiking, easy check-in, and clean room which had everything we needed. Also the store was close by and had a good selection of complementary coffee for the morning.

Sink in bath did not drain. Couldnt use it. Toilet rocked side to side. Utube tv never worked. Called for help. Response too slow. Gave up. No tv. Need maintenance person on site.
