Unique Club at Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort

Fabulous hotel, great location and lovely restaurants nearby. Breakfast in Toscana was first class as were the staff. Bar Central in the lobby - staff were so efficient and friendly. In fact, the staff made the holiday for us, couldn't do enough for us, from the cleaners, bar staff, reception, water aerobics, maintenance, everything just first class. The gardens and infinity pool are something to behold. Saving already for next year!

Loly, Victor and Bremda at the Arenal pool bar really looked after us. Terrific cocktails and always a friendly smile. Love coming back to this place for a well earned escape from the rain and work in the UK

Where do I start?! Do not disturb sign on the door and the cleaner still entered when we were inside. They also had been in our room when we were out and had the do not disturb sign on. UNACCEPTABLE. The majority of the staff are rude and have no care even if you have booked a Unique experience. Only came across two staff members in this hotel that were actually nice. Waited half an hour for some water at dinner. Over crowded areas all over. Do not come here as a young female with tattoos, especially during the German holidays, unless you want to be looked up and down and have comments made about you constantly making you feel uncomfortable wherever you go. Food was definitely not 5* the best experience from this whole holiday was dining at Rooftop El Faro, this hotel should take notes and get some training with the staff from Faro hotel! Looks like a 5* hotel but once you’re here it’s more like a 2* in regard to the service and what you actually get for your money. Do not bother wasting your hard earned money and annual leave just to stay in a place that looks nice. Just another “Instagram worthy” place and nothing else. I also informed the hotel that this was for my partners 30th birthday, however we were greeted with a note congratulating us on our “wedding anniversary” which isn’t even possible considering he has just turned 30. This was also our first holiday together just us and I cannot put into words how upset we are. I can’t believe that I have wasted thousands of pounds for this!!! Absolutely gutted. Oh and the extra charges are hilarious!!! All extra charges should be made clear when booking. Unfortunately we are still staying here and we honestly can’t wait to go home. Thanks for an awful holiday experience we will not be back.

Facilities, staff and location

food in the hotel has serious room for improvement apart from breakfast which was nice. Lunch and dinner is well below standard for a 5 star hotel. I ended up eating out at restaurants every night. They need to look into that.

I really loved the Food and the activities with Sebastian and Gabi. All in all it was an awesome vacation.
