Hotel Un lugar en la Vecilla

Easy walking distance to nice town centre. Was able to put my motorcycle under cover. Staff super friendly and helpful.

Lacked formal reception area

Good location. Lovely, clean accommodation.

English was not spoken so I called a friend in Miami who spoke Spanish. Breakfast was toast and coffee, but eggs available for an additional fee.

Easy location for our route through Spain. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Nice simple decor. Delicious coffee next morning in the cafe attached.

It was a shame the cafe was closed when we arrived, but it was Sunday night. However we did find a nice little bar by walking into the delightful town (15 minutes). There is a railway line nearby but there are no trains in the night so it’s ok.

Not a lot

It is hard to find as only sign just says hotel rural Hotel name is round the side We went to bar to enquire where hotel was to be told you are here .but .problem......no room available.. having taken our money 2 days before We were rather dismayed having driven 7 hours! We were told we could have a room above restaurant instead. It was basic and cold but a bed!! They would pay for evening meal We were then told restaurant closed but then they decided to feed us with a large young rugby touring team.. meal was ok but we were tired and hungry.. having only had plate of cheese and ham for 20 euros in bar on arrival We obviously would not return!!!!

Underfloor heating in bedroom, comfortable bed and perfectly ok showerroom

The location was terrible. Not in Dueñas village but in an adjoining area next to a large industrial building and opposite a small industrial estate. The bridge connecting the hotel to Dueñas village (over the motorway and railway line) had a very narrow pavement which generally could be dangerous and particularly in the dark. The hotel premises are not listed by Google as a hotel and although it had a Hotel Rural sign outside, we could not see a plaque to validate this on the building itself. We had booked a "deluxe room" but the bedroom was very basic (despite the advantages mentioned above). The breakfast was toast and jam and coffee, no juice or anything else was offered. This in practical terms is not a hotel but would represent a perfectly adequate, if greatly overpriced, Hostal

Great location, 5 minutes walk into the town. Really nice room with unusual furniture and underfloor heating. Bar and restaurant on site for dinner and breakfast. Parking on site, I was able to park my motorcycle in the in the garage.

Very quiet, clean, comfortable

This is an unassuming little hotel, with good modern bedrooms and facilities, that is made marvellous by the lady owner who is a tour de force of welcome and generosity. She was up to make us breakfast and did us a really good dinner the night before. Her great spirit makes this place a pleasure to stay in.
