Hotel Un lugar en la Vecilla

The breakfast was fine, fresh natural orange juice with nicely toasted bread and good coffee. Also the offer of more if required. We received a very nice apology and friendly response from Mari, the only hotel staff we saw at breakfast. The standard of comfort and decor in the property was very good.

The location was in an industrial area of the town, badly lit and the hotel had no illuminated sign indicating that it was a hotel and in total darkness when we arrived. The sat nav took us there but we could not find any signs of life despite knocking at the house door. The adjoining bar was locked up and in darkness at 8.30pm. We went away and received confirmation from our usual stopover hotel that we had found the right place.. we returned and found a key in the door but no one on reception. After knocking on the door to the bar/restaurant help was found and we were checked in.

Quirky and charming place. Our hostess very kindly accommodated late arrival due to bad weather delaying the ferry. She also provided a good gluten free breakfast at short notice. We had forgotten to tell her! Very friendly. Nice place.

Confortable and quiet

No reception, had to go looking. Not very clean. Breakfast in the bar and consisted of cup of tea, toast with no butter and jam. The lady was pleasant but was trying to clean up from the night before.

The room was lovely. Very clean & comfortable. Bathroom well appointed.

Facilities said restaurant & bar. We arrived, checked in & went to bar to find it closed. Had to walk into the town to find food. We chose the hotel because of the services it offered. Breakfast was terrible, coffee & fresh juice were served but there was no help yourself to another drink. Served 2 stale bread roles that were toasted, rock hard & a preserve & that was all! We sat & ate it whilst listening to the staff having a loud conversation/argument!

A family run hotel with lots of personality

This hotel needs to sort their administration side out a bit hit and miss if the restaurant was going to be closed when we arrived due to holidays they should of pre warned us, the fact they did not have breakfast ready the next day due to arriving late to open the kitchen showed a lack of control at times

The internet worked well

We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and most places were closed including the onsite restaurant that was closed due to holidays but was told it would be open for breakfast at 8 am so we arrived there the next morning ready for breakfast only to find the place locked up and in darkness they eventually arrived at 8.15 opened up and dashed about in order to prepare toast and jam a cup of coffee and as they were out orange :( they gave us another juice not fresh something from the bar fridge yep not impressed very unprofessional
