Hotel Un lugar en la Vecilla

After a very long car drive we arrived later than we expected due to the bad weather on the way from France. Maria José made our check-in and she was very helpful and reassuring and made us feel welcomed. The room and bathroom were extremely clean, spacious enough for the two of us, and extremely quiet. The room does not have AC but didn’t feel the need for it. Unfortunately we didn’t get to try the restaurant because it was the day that is closed but Maria José immediately gave us options within walking distance (5 minutes) and we had a good dinner. The entire hotel is a welcoming space, making it perfect for a stay or a stop to eat or drink like several people did while we were there for a nice breakfast with Maria José always checking if we needed anything more. The car parking is just outside, near the electric car charger, it’s a safe and quiet place. The location is perfect, making it a great base for exploring the area. Would certainly return and recommend it!

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Location is on the outskirts of the town, a short 10 minutes walk to the plaza. Skipped breakfast as no one was around, I think we went there during their 'off peak season' (July 2024). Staff were friendly

they did not have any written version of the menu for the evening meal. As my Spanish is not fluent but I can use my translator for reading this was a problem and we doubt we will return. The food we did have was OK.

The hotel provided a friendly atmosphere and great food at a very reasonable and affordable price. It was also very conveniently located for a one-night stay on our way back to Portugal.

The property was clean and comfortable. And the owner was very friendly and helpful.

Everything was tip top.

Close to the motorway and familiar with a local pub-feeling. Very nice hostess who served us a well tasting dinner.

Breakfast was served after 8am but I was the only one there. Plenty to eat and drink.

Thought I could get an earlier breakfast.
