Barceló Benidorm Beach - Adults Recommended

Great location and brilliant hotel for a few short days in Benidorm. High standard with welcoming staff. Will definitely stay again.

We stayed at this Barcelo hotel in June 2026. The hotel’s location, staff and room standard was just perfect in every way. The only small thing that let the hotel down for us was the balcony which wasn’t a great look out & was shaded constantly. I would rate this stay good value for money

We arrived early afternoon and as the room wasn’t ready we enjoyed a couple of drinks in the hotel outdoor bar at the front, before we arrived we upgraded our room from a standard double to a superior side sea view (room 514) and did this directly through the hotel and so glad we did as it was a lovely view from the balcony! All staff are approachable and friendly. We stayed half board and can honestly say that both breakfast and dinner was excellent, so much variety but not too overwhelming and something to suit everyone! Fresh fruit, smoothie shots, fresh bread, cooked cold meats and cheeses, yoghurts, croissants, jams, honey, made to order omelettes and fried eggs also poached, hard boiled eggs too, sausages, bacon, hash browns ( very nice) tomatoes, churros and much more! Housekeeping was of a high standard too, towels replaced every day, air-con was a bit awkward to control but it did the job, the lifts were “interesting” (you’ll understand when you get there) had a few laughs with other guests about them. Pool area was lively with approachable and friendly staff, great views from up there too and a proper sun trap! No problem getting a sun-lounger at any time, plenty of seats/sofas too, you cannot access the rooftop bar/lounger area until 10am, we were given 2 cards upon check in for pool towels as we asked if they were available to hire, you give the card to a member of staff up on the rooftop and they will give you your towel, make sure to return the towels to get your card back or you will be charged if you don’t present them upon check out. Drinks on the roof top quite expensive depending on what you order, 2 Tanqueray and tonic €27 ouch but very enjoyable and you get a generous measure so not too bad really. The only downside was the chlorine in the pool, I found it to be quite strong but that could just be my personal opinion, we prefer the sea to the pool anyway but had to cool off as the weather was absolutely roasting! We will return here in the future I’m sure and can highly recommend! Thank you for such a wonderful stay at Barcelo Benidorm Beach x
