Mondrian Beach Lifestyle Resort By Accor

It was our first time visiting Ibiza and Mercedes made the experience incredible. She recommended us restaurants, beaches and places to visit. Were it not for her, our trip would have been so much worse.

The property is very clean and spacious, you do not feel the presence of others whilst in your room or enjoying the facilities

The staff were friendly and catered for everybody’s needs

The Mondrian doesn't seem to know what it wants to be it advertising suggests a relaxing hotel but this is far from the reality,: Rooms The rooms are ok however lacked the touches that you expect in a 5 star hotel, our room (1114) had marks all over the walls there was next to no wardrobe space ( 7 coat hangers!) The balcony was small, the bed itself made a loud squeeking noise everytime you sat on it. Pool area. Whilst the hotel shares its pool areas with the neighbouring hotel there is a designated pool for Mondrian guests , we found that it was pretty impossible to get a bed if you weren't at the pool by 11am, worst than that they play really loud dance music all day, the beds if you manage to get one are comfortable but let down by pillars that have black mould on them. My main concern was there was green algie around the Mondrian pool you could literally see it on the steps. Breakfast Breakfast was good but not amazing the dining room is inside with no option to sit outside. The hotel seems to want to be everything to everyone one minute its offering yoga then there's a full on rave DJ the lot! The result is it felt chaotic and not relaxing at all my advice would be if your looking for a nice hotel to have a nice relaxing holiday AVOID this one. If you want loud dance music and lots of young loud guests its for you. I would also recommend that if you do stay there choose the Hotel next door (Hyde) they share the same facilities pool wise and we found there facilities better than the Mondrian and its much cheaper.

The area was extremely disappointing and the photographs did not reflect the true appearance of the facilities, in particular the pool area.
