Cruck Cottage - Gorgeous 300 Year Old Cottage Mins from North Yorkshire Moors, Steam Trains and Picturesque Pickering

Lovely comfortable cottage, nicely furnished and good sized tv. Plenty of hot water, nice little garden & easy off road parking. Easy stroll into the town to the train station, shops & restaurants. Very friendly attractive area. Sweet cat came to visit every day !

The traffic was a little noisy from 6am , both double bedrooms are at the front. Definitely not a complaint , just an observation for light sleepers.

We booked this cottage firstly as it was dog friendly and secondly, it was in the perfect location for us. Prior to check-in, communication with owner Emma was excellent. Now, Cruck Cottage … wow! A wonderful cottage that caters to every need. It really was a home from home, comfortable and the attention to detail was impeccable. Everything you could possibly need was here and beautiful toiletries throughout. A fully enclosed cottage garden was perfect for our little dog and just sitting out in the sun. Parking in the road outside was easy, and we always managed to park within a few doors of the cottage. Really hope we get the opportunity to visit again. Thank you

Cruck cottage was deceptively spacious, well fitted throughout with comfortable furniture and well-chosen decor. It is convenient for the facilities in Pickering and beyond. The hosts are very helpful.

Really great cottage with all of the amenities you would need in the home. Especially liked the pub just over the road! The beds were really comfy.

Spacious cottage on the edge of Pickering with private rear garden. Well equipped kitchen and furnishings, lots of space for pets, to hang up coats, store luggage etc. Comfortable main room with large TV and sun room to the rear.

Only criticism was that there was no capacity to freeze anything - fridge had no freezer compartment and I needed to keep medicines at low temperature. Also anyone travelling longer distance with perishable foods would need to re-freeze freezer blocks for the journey - no other suggestions, cottage was great.

Had to park the car down the road so unloading our bags was a bit of a problem

Very tastefully refurbished and decorated in keeping with its age. Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable
