Cruck Cottage - Gorgeous 300 Year Old Cottage Mins from North Yorkshire Moors, Steam Trains and Picturesque Pickering

It was very comfortable with everything you could need. There was wine, biscuits and milk as a welcome gesture - very much appreciated :) Location was perfect, easy walking distance to the town centre as well as plenty of footpaths taking you into the countryside which our cocker spaniel loved.

Loved the rustic style and cottage charm. Went with my 7 and 10 year old. They loved how different it was too our new build.

The cottage was very pretty, well kept and the furnishings all comfortable and lovely. There was everything you could possibly need and more! Dog friendly and child friendly. Close to the station as we had planned to go on a steam train one of the days we were there.

A bit tricky parking outside the cottage but we managed.

The open plan is unusual for a cottage, but the feeling of space was great. You could admire the quality furniture and quirky fittings. We used the small garden as the sun shone every day. Good range of kitchen equipment. The king size bed very comfy.

The conservatory needs a bit of attention, but nice n light with another place to sit, but only in the daytime.

Everything was great few more logs for the fire maybe but thats me being cheeky
