Beautiful cottage, massive inside . Loved the long hallway upstairs lots of character. Comfortable beds, had a great nights sleep.Felt so cosy. stunning location. We booked so we could walk the monsal trail, which is right on your doorstep. We walked 11 miles the views were breathtaking. Definitely returning. Fabulous hosts thank you for the biscuits 😊

The cottage was great and had everything you'd need (including an air fryer and a dishwasher which weren't mentioned in the listing). It was spacious and homely and there were a lot of nice touches. I'd definitely recommend staying at Rose Cottage.

This is a delightful & quaint looking cottage in a quiet location, within easy walking distance of the Angler’s Rest Hotel & across the road from a small river. There is off street parking, which we appreciated. The ground floor comprises a kitchen, dining area, sitting area & a living room with television. The kitchen was well appointed, having everything we needed to cook meals. There is also a toilet downstairs. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one larger than the other and a bathroom & toilet. The bed in the small bedroom was comfortable. The bathroom is of a good size with a shower that had good pressure. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cottage. The host responded immediately to a question we had.

There is no room in the smaller of the two bedrooms to store an opened large suitcase, so we left it downstairs.

Clean! Great cosy cottage decorations. Not precious enough that you had to Be super careful. Great kitchen and equipment. Location for local pub and walks was perfect

Sara and Ian were friendly and helpful hosts. The cottage was spotless and well-equipped. It's a pretty and cozy place to stay with a garden that would be lovely to sit out in in warm weather, and a log-burning stove. Tucked against the hillside, the property has windows facing across the valley into the trees, as well as skylights on the upper floor. The cottage was spacious with two living rooms, and a large kitchen, and extra toilet downstairs. The monsal trail can be accessed just up the hill from the property. Check in and location instructions were helpful and accurate. We wish we had booked a longer stay!

The cottage is situated next to a B road but it is generally quiet and the windows have good glazing.

It was exactly how it looks on the outside, cosy , welcoming, traditional and spotless
