Rose Cottage - Cosy cottage in Millers Dale

Everything. Such a charming cozy property. We will surely visit again. I do not usually rate properties beyond an 8. But this place deserves a 9.

Super convenient for Limestone way and local pub

The cottage was well equipped downstairs but storage upstairs was sparse.

We found the location noisy in the mornings.

The cottage was dellightful.

The only drawback to the cottage is that it is quite dark inside - but we were only there for one night, and if you were out walking all day that wouldn't be a problem.

On a road that was busy and noisy at times

What a beautiful cottage! I stopped here with my mum to go walking around the Monsal trail. The cottage really took us by surprise and was a huge highlight of the trip. It is very traditional and beautiful, the decore all around is cosy and homely and has a lot of personality to it, whilst having all the modern appliances you would want. the cottage is very large too, so plenty of room. The beds are very comfortable and I had a good nights sleep. The garden outside is spacious suitable for eating outside or relaxing, although the road can be quite busy but quietens a lot by the evening. The walk to the Monday trail is literally walking 3 minutes up the pavement and your on it, or you can cross the road and walk 5 minutes to the public footpath to the nature reserve. Truly a special place for us, and we will be going back again in the future.

Personally for Me, nothing, it was just lovely.

It was in a great, central location in millers dale, close to the pub.

The cottage was a little dated and quite expensive for 1 night. The double bedroom was small.

It was a lovely cottage, with a great location for us. The cottage was full of thoughtful additions to literally make it a home from home.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
