Cottage in the heart of the Peak District

The host was very quick to respond to a problem we had. The welcome basket was a really nice gesture. There was more than enough teabags and coffee for a full week. The cottage was small but had everything we needed for a short stay.

There were a few things that could have helped - a couple more dishwasher tablets, perhaps. A teapot, A towel rail that could work independently of general heating.

The cottage is beautifully presented to a very high standard and had everything we needed for a short stay with two children. The location was great for exploring the peaks. The hosts were extremely helpful when we had a slight issue with the hot water, the problem was sorted promptly. We had a fantastic stay. Thank you!

It was presentable, modern and the owners kept some original features that worked well. Loved the design. It was cosy, well looked after, clean and felt homely. The owners ensured they provided a welcome basket, with essentials such as milk, bread and some wine which I was very happy about.

The towels smelt damp. That was the only bad thing I could say about my stay there.

Nice quiet location quite near to all tourist attractions .We like to spend all day out and about but like to rest in the evenings so to our surprise the property had sky to films sport etc so that was a bonus .On arrival we found the landlord had left a goodie basket comprising a nice bottle of wine sourdough bloomer and some foxes cookies also a 2pint of milk in the fridge and to top it all some fresh cut flowers.Two nice sized bedrooms lovely comfortable beds.Nice new shower overall a nice place to stay.

Beautiful place, really well laid out, in excelling condition, very comfortable.

Washing machine not working which was one of the reasons we selected this place. Instead we used the local laundromat. It would have been helpful to know this ahead of time.

Lots of noise from the (surprisingly busy!) road.

Nice fresh flowers and a basket of goodies. Roadside parking easily available nearby. Sensor lights for night - toilet is downstairs.

Super friendly host, property easy to find and access. Beautiful little cottage, welcome basket was a lovely personal touch plus flowers, milk in the fridge and teabags, coffee etc. Very clean and cosy with all the equipment we could possibly need. The local area was so pretty and everyone we met were so friendly. We had a few drinks at The Nelson Arms, such a cosy little local. Overall we had the best time thank you so much ❤️

Parking was roadside but obviously this is unavoidable and there were plenty of spaces to park.

It's a nice cozy place good size bedroom. TV with all major channels. We had some food and wine left for us. It was excellent.
