Friendly and helpful staff

It was fine. Nice staff.

The hotel is dated. Stains on carpets. Bathroom was clean but needs updated. No replenishment of tea/coffee during stay. Very loud all night from fans underneath window, even with windows closed. Got very little sleep. Staff friendly and check in quick.

Great sea views. The room was very basic but good enough. The breakfast wasn't very good though, again very basic. Choice of 2 cereal, with no fruit except for a couple of apples. No fried eggs available, just powdered scrambled egg. I think 3* is fair enough

Very clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Reasonably good breakfast but limited choice. Evening menu was good, varied and served well. Bar facilities available until 11pm but limited choice. Room facilities adequate but shower pressure on 3rd floor was low. No USB but free wi-fi. TV was through Freeview but NetFlix and other providers available. Overall satisfied with the hotel and would stay there again..

While the receptionist was helpful, she seemed overworked. The hotel itself is in dire need of attention, which I could overlook, but the real issue was the wasp/bee nest outside my bedroom window. Insects were flying around in the afternoon, and by night, I found multiple in the bathroom—not just a few, but many. The breakfast was poor in quality and unappetizing. The man serving was helpful, but the young lady couldn’t be bothered. I phoned the hotel the day after (as there was nobody at reception on the day of departure) to raise my concerns and was promised a call back, I’m still waiting! Overall, I feel cheated out of the value for my money and more importantly my time. This hotel needs serious investment and attention to detail. I won't be staying here again.

It was fine for a 2-night stay, but hotel a bit tired and in need of decoration. My room had a double bed, wardrobe and desk and wife was good. Bath as well as shower, But noisy plumbing system when bath or basin drains or toilet flushed. Breakfast was basic, so I only had on the first morning. Easy parking outside on sea front and in side street. Also a car park at the back. Large public lounge with TV.

Would recommend but wouldn't return personally, priced ok. Staff lovely. Very clean. Large double beds comfy but for some reason my side sloped so didn't get a great night's sleep, think mattress just worn. Shower ok but not great, needs an upgrade. Complimentary soap and shower gel very nice. Toilet roll cheap and wouldnt potentially last if you stayed for 24 hours in full. Full English breakfast nice but needed to be hotter. Orange juice not fresh orange but normal juice, was nice. Coffee very nice. Bar area well stocked, ice machine spot on. Dog bowl for water at entrance. Parking round back but plenty on main road all free. Overall a nice hotel for a night.

Hotel was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good offering cold and hot options. Good value for money! Only negative was the room window which we could not close or lock. I reported this at check-out so it could be repaired and made secure. Ample parking and would stay again.
